(Before we begin, I need help in telling how much Jewels are worth. For now I will use this worth 1$ = 1 Jewel. Also, all the info about the MC, Free and the story will be at the end of the chapter.)
The day certanly did not start good for Lucy. It was a few weeks, maybe even months after she joined her dream guild, Fairy Tail. Till now all crazy stuff happened to her and her friends Natsu, Happy, Gray and Erza.
A few days they went (accidentaly) on a S-Class mission, which they did complete. But they still got punished. Anyway, today would certnaly be the craziest day so far in her life.
The first think after she woke up and did her ussual morning routine. As she got ready to head out to the guild, she caught Natsu and Happy bursting into her apartment. Again.
One beating later, they explained to her that she, together with the others, had a special task. They needed to go to Paradise Island and pick-up a "member" of Fairy Tail. Of course after the whole Galuna Island incident, she was a little suspicious of the mission. They showed her even the paper and signature of Master Makarov to show it was true this time. So after telling her to be 100% prepared, the duo left. Leaving Lucy curious about Paradise Island. After multiple hours of searching through books, newspapers and even asking some of her Celestial Spirits about the island, she finaly managed to find some in info.
Paradise Island, a mysterious island that appeared a few hundreds years before. The water around the island is pure as it was just created. The siland itself is a mystery since no ship managed to pass the line where the islands water and sea water meet. Each ship would be sunk by what appeared to be a "giant armored fish/human thing". That was all she managed to dig out about the island. At it certanly gave her a bad feeling.
The next day, after the entire team was in Hargeon waiting for their boat. As they waited, Erza started to explain the plan. They will stop at the place where the two waters meet, Gray will make a ice bridge that will help them reach the shore. And from there they will follow the shore and find his house, that Makarov told them was located at the shore.
However, the plan soon appeared to be a total failure. When they reached the waters, everyone exept Natsu managed to leave the ship. As they tried to help him, the ship was suddenly lifted up and thrown towards the island. That caused the Team to get scathered. And Lucy had the feeling that God was messing with her.
"You have to try those fruits, Lucy! OH, those berries are also very tasty! Not to mention those things growing on the trees!"
She had the luck (bad or good you decide) to be lost with Happy. Said cat was currently in a state of freenzy and happines she never saw him. He was speeding from one tree to another, picking up fruits and stuffing them into his mouth. She never saw the flying cat so exited about something to eat that isn't fish or fish related. She was honestly a little afraid. More soo when Happy flied right in front of her face and presented a small red fruit. It looked like a norma strawberry, just more round.
"Lucy! You have to taste these fruits! They are the best you will find!" Happy said exitedly as Lucy took the fruit from his paws (?) and ate it. True to his words, the berry was very delicious.
"What is this? It tastes like strawberry and ... maybe pear." said Lucy in wounder as the taste left her suprised in a good way.
"Told you. Paradise Island has one of the best fruits that can have multiple tastes." said Happy as he took a apple-like fruit. "Like this. It has both the taste of multiple forest fruits." he wasted no time in stuffing the entire fruit in his mouth.
"Im honestly suprised that you like the fruits here so much. I though that fish is for you the only and best food?" Lucy asked as Happy looked at her with a confused look.
"I still love fish! There is no food that can match it." Happy said proudly, before turning a little pale. "But, once I together with Natsu tried to get fish here, we almost got eaten by a giant fish."
"Eh?" was all Lucy could say as she never thought that Happy would be afraid of fish.
"That fish was at least the size of our Guild Hall, with all kind of weapons on its back. It was a livning nightmare. That is why I decided to focus on the fruits here." like a switch being presed, his frightened look turnet to a cheerful one as he stuffed another fruit. "Especially if some fruits have a similar taste of a fish."
"Remind me to never pick those fruits." muttered Lucy as she looked around. "So, how can we that Free guy? Master said he has a house here."
"Well, there are two options. The first one is that we find one of his DWC's. The second is that one of his Units finds us. If we go by the second, I can say a beating is guaranted to happen." said Happy as he remembered the only ways to find Free.
"Well, lets hope we find one of those DWC's. I don't think we can survive the second option." said Lucy as they began to slowly move. "By the way, what does DWC mean?"
Before Happy could answere a other voice answered for them, making them stop.
"It stands for Demon World Castle, the main defence force of Paradise Island." the voice was feminim and slightly monotone. The blonde and cat looked above them and saw the person who said that.
It was what appeared to be a young girl with light blue hair tied in pigtails. She was wearing some sort of light armor that left her belly exposed. Her eyes were staring at the duo bored. What stood out was the fact that she had small angel wings and a golden trumpete in her hand.
"Trumpeter." wispered Happy as he recalled the Unit.
"Seems like the cat does remember me. Nice. And its Revenger, Dark Bond Trumpeter." the now named Trumpeter said as she looked at Lucy. "Looks like a new member. I will say she is the last member who got here in the search for Free, right?" she only recived two nodds.
Trumpeter slowly descended to the ground and stood in front of Lucy, looking at her closly. But duo to the height difference in the two females, Trumpeter's face right in front of Lucy's chest.
"What is she doing?" asked Lucy in a hushed to Happy, who looked like he is about to fly off.
"It is some sort of security everyone had to pass the first time they got here." answered Happy with no care as he turned to Trumpeter. "Can I go to Free?"
"Sure. He is still in the same place." answered Trumpeter as Happy flew off, ignoring Lucy's shouts. Now Lucy and Trumpeter were the only ones left.
Lucy was a little unconfrontable as Trumpeter inspected her. She also had the feeling that her twitching hands were a bad sign.
"You are a Celestial Spirit Mage, right?" asked Trumpeter as she hovered in front of Lucy.
"Yes." she answered unsure as Trumpeter still held her blank look.
"All right, we are almost finished." Lucy relased a sigh of relief. "We just need to do one last thing. So please, close your eyes." seeing her confused look, Trumpeter explained. "This is just a small detail that needs to be done so I can make sure you don't have any ... illneses."
After a moment of thinking, Lucy closed her eyes. It was common knowledge to never let her guard down, but knowing that all her friends did that, she had a feeling that everything will be good. Also, Trumpeter looked like a person who would never hurt a stranger without a good reason.
"No need to be tense. This will be over in a few seconds." the voice of Trumpeter was heard as she also heard the sound of something being writen. "Now for the final thing."
Lucy braced herself for most things. A attack, a needle, even a small prank. She was mentaly prepared for almost anything, but for this ...
"Hmmm. Firm, but still soft. Big, but not to big. They are perfect."
It was not the things Trumpeter said, it was the things Lucy feels that caused her eyes to shoot open. Looking down, she noticed Trumpeter with her hands on her breasts. After a moment of silence, Trumpeter looked up and meet Lucy's bright red face.
"Crap." was all she managed to say as Lucy delivered a strong kick that could be heard from the entire island.

After the incident, Trumpeter brought Lucy to a rather impressive beach house, saying it was the place where Y/
On the balcony she saw Natsu, Gray and Erza calmly eating and drinking. Happy was on the railing and fishing. There was another person with them. He had long spiky dark red/black hair that was tied in a ponytail. His eyes were black and almost cat like and half-closed out what appeared to be boredom. He was wearing a simple shirt with a jacket over it and jeans. He also had a glove on his right hand.
As she approachd them, it was Natsu who first saw her.
"Hey Luce, you got just in time for the sweets! The dounats here are the best you will find!" said Natsu as he ate another donat.
"Seems like that is the Celestial Spirit Mage you guys told me about." the guy who appeared to be Free said as he offered Lucy a seat at the table. "Please, sit. Like Natsu saidy you just got in time for the sweets."
As Lucy sat, she noticed that the table had different sweets and drinks on it.
"Guess we should meet officialy. Like you friends told you, im Free, a old friend of Fairy Tail." Free said as he offered Lucy a hand for a handshake.
"And the guy who keeps the Council from disbanning our guild." added Gray as he returned to the sweets on the table. "Not to mention he was a giant troll."
As soon as he said that, Lucy knew something was off. But she couldn't place her finger on it.
"Now that that is out of the way, lets start with the reason why you are here." said Free as he immediatley sweet droped when he saw the state the Fairy Tail mages were in.
Natsu and Gray were enjoying the different sweets, paying no mind to the outside world. Erza was focused on her cake that she wouldn't even notice if the house caught fire. Happy was focused on the fishing, like he forgot what happened last time.
"Are they allways like this when they visit you?" asked Lucy as she looked at her teammates.
"Yup. You get used to it after the first ... twenty times." said Free as he sighned. "Anyway, I wanted to apologise about what Trumpeter did." that caused Lucy to blush at the memory of the female Unit groping her.
"I-Its no problem. I learned she was just careful." she said as Free gained a cat like smile.
"That is good to hear. So you have no problem that I can share the feeling of things my Units touch." Free said with a small goofy smile.
Lucy was left in a state of shock as Free did a groping movement with his right hand.
"Firm, but still soft. Big, but not to big. They are perfect." he muttered loud enough for Lucy to hear, who was red as a tomato. Both duo to embarassment and anger. So she did the only normal thing.
"DIE, YOU PERVERT!" she kicked Free with full strenght, launching him into the water. All while laughting like a idiot.

After they explained the situation to Free and why Makarov called him, they began to make their way home. But there was one problem. Their boat was destroyed, much to the joy of Natsu.
"So what now? Has anyone any ideas?" asked Erza as they stood at the beach.
"I could create a ice path but it wouldn't probably be enough for us to reach Magnolia." said Gray as he forgot about the creatures that swin in the waters.
"No suprise there." said Natsu as he and Gray immediatley got in a argument. This time about who could cross the sea better, apparently.
"Lucy, why don't you try and summon Aquarius?" suggested Erza as Lucy got pale.
"That would be a realy bad idea. I have a feeling she would drown us before." said Lucy as she shivered slightly.
"Maybe I could do something about it." offered Free.
"You have a way?" asked Erza as Free nodded.
"I have. And it will be a win-win for all of us." Free said as he steped forward. "Time to give the newes member a sneek peek of my Magic."
He stoped right in front of the water as a dark blue aura surrounded him. It caught the attention of the fighting mages.
"Is his magic realy that impressive?" asked Lucy as the aura around Free only increased.
"Trust me on this one. There are many magic around the world that can be copied with no trouble or with trouble, but Free's is uniquie only to him." explained Erza.
"So only he can use it?" asked Lucy as she had to make sure she heard right.
"Yup. Free is the only person in the entire history who hase and had that power. And belive me, it is impressive. Look." said Gray as he pointed to Free.
"OK guys, I need you to take a step back. This will make a splash." warned Y/N as they did what he said. "Allright, lets start."
As he said that, multiple symbols (the emblems of Granblue) appeared around him and began to circle him.
"There are no tehniques that can stop a sinking ship from dying! Now, souls of the drowned ones! Asemble once again and create the ship of the stormy seas that once belonged to the Granblue!"
As Y/N finished his chant, his magic circle appeared above the water and something came out of it and landed in the water.
It can only be described as a giant ghost ship. It looked like it was underwater for years with the sails torn. The part of the ship that touched the water looked like it was made out of bones. The front part looked like the face of a sea monster, even with a mouth. Lucy could have sworn she saw some sort of eyes looking at them from the ship. Overall, it was one scary ship.
"The hell?" was all Lucy could say as she looked at the giant ship.
"All aboard on the Unfading Ship, Immortal Galleon. Next stop, Magnolia." said Free as a small bonely plank came from the ship. The Fairy Tail wizards began to board the ship. Or throw him there in Natsu's case.

It was your normal day in Fiore, or more specific Magnolia as people were doing they own things. There has only been one thing that was strange.
Natsu was for a the past few day acting strange. He was barely at the guild. His destructions on missions, which he took even more, was on a minumum. He was also trying his hardest to remain undetected.
"I never saw Natsu acting this ... quiet." said Lucy as she sat at the bar with Mira. Natsu just came back from a mission and immediatley took another that was here in Magnolia.
"It is realy strange for him to act like that. Not to mention he only picked jobs that are here in Magnolia." said Mira as she tried to figure out why Natsu was behaving like that.
As they talked, Gray entered the guild and walked to the bar.
"Has any of you guys seen Natsu?" asked Gray as he sat next to Lucy.
"He just went on another mission. Why? Please tell you aren't trying to pick a fight with him again." groaned Lucy as Gray, to their suprise, shook his head.
"Nope. Erza is nearby and its a death wish for us to pick a fight when she is nearby." he said in a sightly scared tone. But his face soon turned into a grin. "Im asking because I saw Free a few minutes before. He was apparently searching for Natsu." he explained getting two confused looks.
"Oooook. But what is there strange? I mean, he probably needs Natsu for something, right?" asked Mira as Gray's grin grew.
"Then answere me this: Why would Free search for Natsu personaly, when he can just send out one of his Units?" Gray asked as Lucy grew more confused. Mira on the other hand thought for a moment, before her eyes grew in terror.
"You mean..." she began as Gray nodded.
"Yup. And its a matter of time he find him." said Gray as Lucy decided to join.
"Can someone explain to me what is going on?" she soon regreted asking as Mira looked at her with a serious look.
"Lucy, like you know, Free is one of the oldest members. That also means he had many jobs in his past. One of them was a Debt Hunter. A expert in that job." explained Mira as Lucy thought about his slightly greed personality.
"Well, that explains some things. But wait, why is Natsu afraid of him so much that he is working 24/7?"
"He must owe him to much money, so he decided to get the money before Y/N can find him. And it never ends up good." Gray said. "I remember once Master told us about a time one of the Council members owned him money. The result was brutal. Y/N broke almost all of his bones. And that is when he is tasked by someone else. If someone own's him money, it will be much more brutal."
"Note to self: never own Free money." she thought to herself.
It was night time as a good part of the guild was empty. The only people remaining were Lucy, Gray, Mira and Erza. The last one decided to wait and see if Natsu can escape from Free. Happy was in the guild for a few moments to find a few missions for Natsu, and quickly left so Free can't find him.
It was pretty late as the doors opened and Natsu peeked inside. Once he was sure the coast was clear, he entere the guild and sighned in relief.
"I managed to get the money." he said as he walked to the bar and laid his head on it.
"Good for you. Now tell us, how much you owe him?" asked Erza the question that was on their minds.
"Pff, nothing much." said Natsu with a wave of his hand.
"How much? 1,000?" aksed Lucy as he shook his head.
"5,000?" asked Gray and again Natsu shook his head.
"Don't tell me 10,000?" he again shook his head at Mira's question.
"Not even close."
"Less?" Erza asked hopping that was the case.
"More." seeing the shocked looks of the others Natsu decided to tell them his debt. "100,000"

"Yup, you are dead." Gray said breaking the silence.
"Relax, once I tell Free I have the money he will forget about this." said Natsu not noticing the fearfull expersions his friends have. "No offence to him, but he is slightly like a drgaon that is all bark and no bite. He will never hurt any of us."
"I maybe have no bite, but I roar fire." came Free's voice as Natsu feels a gun barrel on the side of his head. "There you are, you dragonic money owening bastard. Get up!" Natsu did as Free told him.
"Free, I was just searching for you." said Natsu in a slightly afraid tone. After all, his life was at stake.
"Spare me the small talk, where is the money?!" asked/yelled Free as Natsu gave him a bag.
"Come one man, you know I barely have any money." Natsu tried to save himself.
"Yea, no money. Look here in this bag nothing less that 400,000. Just a small amount." said Free as he took the amount Natsu owned.
"Free, please tell me this is some kind of joke. I mean, I owned you money before and you were never this aggresive." said Natsu as Free gave a small laughter.
"Yes, this is all a joke. Even this gun is just a me to shoot?" asked Free as he slowly retreated and still had Natsu in aim.
"Don't. Why would you shoot?" was his short answere.
"You were thinking of tricking me, you son of a lizard. Only one is Free Vermillion. Chin-chin-cu-ciao-ciao." said Free with a slightly crazed laughter as he exited the guild.
Once he was out of sight, Natsu breated a sighn of relief. "Man, I think the living crap died inside me." looking around he noticed that a certain female mage is missing. "Where is Luce?"
Said mage slowly came from behind the bar with one of those thing we keep our beer in over her head as a sort of protection.
"Did the crazy guy leave?"
And done. The first chapter is done. Hope you enjoyed it. There will be more this kind of situations. Not to mention the action and comedy. Honestly, I might have trouble with writing scenes with multiple characters, so that would probably be my biggest problem.
So, we have the MC named Free. He is a very lazy person, who follows the beat of his own drum. He is a S-Class Mage of Fairy Tail, and before you say anything here is the catch. Unlike the others, he is the weakest of them when it comes to destructive power. He is heavily relied on his magic, which I will talk about in a sec. The only reason he manages to attain that status is because he is out of all the other S-Class the smartest, and I mean in term of making strategies and using his power to the fullest.
Next, his magic. It is inspired by Cardfight Vanguard, or more specific their Units. It will act like a combination of Celestial Spirit and Take-Over. If he uses the summoning part, he can't use Grade 3 and 4 for to long and he leaves himself open. His main body that is. He can only summon one Unit, depending in its strenght. He can't fuse/transform while summoning a Unit.
The fusing/transforming part is that he can fuse/turn into the selected Unit, but the time he uses it depends on its Grade. He can't also summon other Units, but there are some forms that let him, like the ones that have Legion. But that will come later.
Also, for a deepen lore, the Units from Cray will have a fierce rivality with the Celestial Spirits. You will find out why. Each Spirit has their own rival, like Aquarius and Nightstorm from Granblue. There will be reasons.
The pairing will be a single one. I have a few ideas, but the final one is still undecided. Hell, maybe there won't be even a pairing. But, like I said, still thinking.
There will be some elements and characters from other francises and series. Each one will be a hint for a deeper lore and a bigger story. Think of it like Adventure Time, in the sense of the lore.
