It was a rainy day on the day Syaoran told Sakura the news. A rainy March 31st. Out at Penguin Park was where he decided to tell her.
Syaoran looked at Sakura with a sad look in his eyes. "Sakura, I'm sorry but I have to go back to Hong Kong again. I don't know if I will ever be able to return or even keep in touch with you, but I want you to know you will always be in my heart. My mom has had a heart attack and is in a coma now. I have to return to take over clan head duties and look after her. I won't ask you to wait for me again.'
Sakura's emerald eyes brimmed with tears as she threw herself at Syaoran, abandoning her umbrella in her haste. They both got soaked as she hugged him and started crying. It was to be her sixteenth birthday the next day and Syaoran had to leave.
