Who pays the drinks?

Summary: Séamus and his mate Cedric have some fun at the Cliffs of Moher.

Two young men appeared from nowhere. If the mass of tourists would have paid more attention to anything apart from the landscape, they would have noticed that this is meant literally.

The two of them could not have been more different. Visibly different was their appearance. One of them was dark- haired and tall, almost two meters, the other one sandy- haired and short, barely 1 meter and 60.

While the taller one wore a warm black jacket, the smaller one was comfortable with a green T- Shirt. Although, he did not seem cold. He was never, since he carried the fire inside of him.

Cedric MacCarthaigh, the taller one, was in fact a year younger. Former a raven at Hogwarts, he was bright and intelligent, though very calm.

He loved his young wife and their two- year- old daughter, Laoghaire, to death. Being only 19, he already had a family to look after. He would do everything for his personal Holy Trinity.

Séamus Finnigan on the other hand, had once been a lion at the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He was bright and intelligent, too, but he was braver. And at 20, he still had no family of his own, spending his time with as many women he could possibly get. And he never had problems to find a lady, since he was very handsome. Not less than Cedric, but the former raven did not care for this. He already found the love of his life.

"So, Séamus, ready for a cool- down?", the taller man asked as they stepped up to the edge of the Cliffs.

"Everytime, Ced.", the man in question grinned and looked down. Now, he was all at once a little uncomfortable. He never liked the height, just another thing the men did not share, since the young MacCarthaigh loved it. But he had the lion in his heart, in more than one way.

"Scared?", asked Cedric with a smile. Bad curses – half English and half Irish – ran through Finnigans thoughts. Ho came it the other always knew what people thought?

"Never!", he proclaimed. After all, this was not that dangerous, not for the two of them.

Okay ,it was, but less dangerous for them than for any of the muggle tourists around them.

"Ever transformed in free fall?" Again it was Séamus to ask, while he looked up to his mate. Cedric nodded. "Often. You didn't, I s'pose." The sandy- haired shook his head, then smiled. "Well, there's a first time for everything, isn't it?"
"Alright.", Cedric said in his deep, calm voice with the clear- hearable Brogue.

He measured their plan, smiling. "First one to touch the water pays all the drinks tonight.

"Aye.", Séamus nodded, now braver and more self- confident than before. "Let's get it started! On Three!"

They both counted and then took the last steps towards the Cliffs. Then, they jumped, leaving the tourists behind, which tried to convince themselves that they just did not see two young men jumping off the cliff.
