The sun set truly was a beautiful sight, it was something he never got tired of seeing. The contrast of lavender on orange was a luxury all on its own. He stretched slightly, letting his blonde hair fall in his face. He groaned, he had been waiting for the latino for almost a good forty-five minutes. He was happy and the sun seem to distract him from his slight anger. His phone buzzed and he looked down at it.

[ Something came up... ]

He put it down, not even wanting to see the rest of the text message, the one that explained why, he was being ditched. The one that he had gotten thirteen times in the last week. He stood up from the park bench, anger...no sadness set in. His best friend had been ignoring him for the past two weeks and he didn't know why. His phone buzzed again.

[ Make it up to you? ]

That was the message that the boy never looked at. The one he never even heard reach him. Who knew that tears, could blur your vision. Who knew that love, could be so blind.

"Rex." the ivory skinned face stared at him. "Huh?" was the response that came out . The tall man glared behind the dark green shades, the younger boy had been sitting, sitting completely still, not moving a muscle, he hadn't even blinked. "Noah's missing." were the words that Six had chose. "What?" he blinked his face showed shock and confusion. "Noah's missing." he repeated again, keeping the stoic look on his face. Rex registered the words that time, but before he even got a chance to say anything, a certain black haired woman was in front of him, her arms crossed, her lips pursed. "What did you do?" she asked. Holiday had noticed that in the recent week, Rex had been staying at Providence. He was either locked in his room all day or helping César in his lab. In all actuality the latino EVO only ever went out to fight the things that were destroying the city.

~Flash back~

[Something came up..Providence is on alert and Six won't let me leave, can't hang.]

It was true there was a problem with Van Kleiss and he wasn't allowed to leave for the day. When he didn't get a response after a few minutes he frowned.

[Make it up to you?]

He sent in hope that the teen would reply with a smart remark. And even after about two hours of slicing and curing a giant plant EVO. He never got a reply.

~End Flashback~

Rex was staring into space, a lone tear slowing making its way down his cheek. Six stared at him, before Holiday sat down in front of him. "What happened?" she said looking into his eyes.

Who knew that family was a bond, Who knew that young love could be so complicated.
