Chapter 1:

About two to three hours before the action happened, a little small girl was sitting near the only window in her jail cell. It was not exactly a jail cell, but it might as well have been one. It was more like solitary confinement if you think about it, though. Four large stone walls, one wall had a door only accessible through the outside, and the wall opposite of the door had one lonely window, the only source of light in the room. If it was not for the window, the room would have been pitch black with who knows what else in that place.

Back to the little girl though. She was huddled right next to the window, although, in that environment you would have thought she would have been scared. It was the opposite. She has been in the room for a few months now, at first, she was scared, but at this point she was still scared, but not as much. The little girl stared out the window looking at the night sky and wondered what happened. She wanted to know why she was there and how did she get there.

As she thought of these things a dazzling shooting star flew by and she closed her eyes making a wish. "I wish to escape this place. Live with the normal people and fit in." She whispered hoping her prayers would someday be answered.

Then someone barged into the room. They made the door fly open and instantly the girl turned around. She had fear in her eyes as they grabbed her and brought her to a room. The room was different from the one she was always locked up in. The bright lights made it hard for her to see at first, but she soon adjusted to the brightness.

"Here she is sir." A voice said then left leaving the girl alone in the pure white room of emptiness. At least she thought she was alone until she heard footsteps in the distance.

"You stupid go for nothing child!" the boss yelled at her repeatedly. "Now you shall pay for disobeying orders!" he continued. Then he started to hit the girl. She screamed with pain trying to get some help but no one came. Over and over again the harsh hand of the boss would come across her bare skin. He would hit the face, anywhere basically. Then he got out the whip, it was worse than just getting smacked around. He lashed at her arms and legs until the girl fell silently to the floor.

When she woke up, she was in darkness once again. The moonlight shining through the window gave off dim lighting that made the girl realize where she was, in her room once again. She tried to sit up, but the pain was unbearable. She wept on the floor for a while until the door opened again.

Two people came in. The people from her team. Each group had about three to five people in it, her group happened to have five. It was her, the two people who just walked in the room, and two older kids. They worked together to get missions they were assigned done. When the two people, who were and still are close in age with the girl saw she was beaten up they looked at each other for a second. Then, they nodded their heads at one another and decided they have had enough.

"It's time!" The girl told her friend.

He shook his head and walked over to the girl lying on the floor. He whispered the plan to her.

The time passed by and the group of three knew what they had to do. They ran, ran as if their lives depended on it, and in which case, it did. For if they were caught, they would be punished to the highest extent. Of course, the boss would not kill them, but they would wish they were dead after the torture he would put them through.

They were breathing heavily trying to catch their breaths as well as trying not to stop for even a second. If they did, Karen and Will, the older kids in their team, would catch up and get them for sure.

"Please! Stop!" The girl shouted at the top of her lungs.

"We can't or else they'll catch us!" The brown haired girl on her team called back. She looked behind her shoulder to see the girl a few feet behind, but almost choking for air.

"Blue she's right we need to find a place to hide and stop." The red headed boy yelled at her.

The brunette the redhead called Blue, stopped to look back at the two people following her. For a split second she shook her head and then got back on topic and pointed to her left. "Over there!" She called, "And quick!"

The girl raced up ahead to catch up with Blue and the redhead. "Thanks, Silver." She called to him.

"Welcome, Aqua."

Blue stopped again and this time took out her map of the area. She looked around, figuring out where they were and where they had to go next. After that brief stop, and catching their breaths, they continued running.

"Over there! I see them!" A voice called.

Oh no! All three of them were thinking the same thing. They knew they had to hurry up before they were caught. Blue with quick thinking sent out her Jigglypuff. Silver saw this and did the same only he did not have a Jigglypuff, so he sent out his Sneasel. Blue commanded Jigglypuff to use Smoke Screen, and Sneasel was commanded to use Blizzard in an attempt to freeze Karen and Will in their tracks. Once the attacks were launched, the three ran as fast as they could and came to a corridor where Jigglypuff blocked the way to make it seem like a dead-end.

After Karen and Will left, believing they approached a dead-end, Jigglypuff shrunk down to its original form. The group continued following Blue until they came to a bright light. They ran towards it and finally found their way out. Blue did not leave empty-handed though, she has taken feathers, the ones in her hand. One of them was rainbow and the other was silver, they were the Rainbow Wing and Silver Wing the Masked Man, the boss, had. Both were important to him.

"Well where too? We are in Hoenn, at least that's what the Masked Man said, after all." Blue said.

"Somewhere that's not here." Silver suggested.

Aqua, Blue, and Silver ran around the Hoenn region, careful enough not to get noticed by anyone until they reached the docks. They wanted to get as far away from this place as possible. They hid behind some crates and overheard the crew members talking about a region called the Kanto Region. To the three children, the Kanto region seemed like a good enough place as any to start their lives over again.

They snuck onto one of the ships heading towards Kanto in the storage area. For a few days the three had to stay below the ship making sure no one, even the crew, did not see them. They took shifts to keep watch, of course, since Blue is the oldest she took the first shift. Finally, once the boat stopped and the captain announced that they have reached their destination, Kanto. The three listened carefully and heard everyone getting off the ship. When they were sure the coast was clear, they snuck off as well.

Kanto was so much different from what they were used to seeing. They looked around and saw people everywhere. Then, a large sign caught their attention it read: VERMILION CITY home of Lt. Surge. Albeit, the kids did not know what the sign said, since they could not read to well, they knew they were in another region.

Then hear the Captain from the boat said, "Welcome to the Kanto Region Everyone please enjoy your stay here."

The group walked around for a while trying to become familiar with the area where they were going to live. But then, Blue and Silver said something that threw the middle child into a daze.

"We are going to have to go our separate ways now." Blue said. "We all have our own past we must recover so that is the only option. Also if the Masked Man ever finds us we won't be so easy to catch."

"I agree with Blue, we have to."

"Good luck everyone." Blue put her fist out for one last group cheer. They all touched each others fists while standing in a triangle. From each corner came another fist and the three smiled at each other.

"Good luck, live on, and keep believe." Blue said. "This'll be our new cheer when we meet up in the future okay?"

After the cheer, all three left Vermilion City to go their own way.
