As Pepper scanned her armor from head to toe in excitement and sheer joy, Tony and Rhodey watched her from a distance.

"See what you created?" Rhodey teased with a smile.

"Aw, I think she'll make a good superhero." Tony said with a smile as she watched Pepper studying her armor in admiration.

"Yeah, that's only 'cause you like her." Rhodey said with a smirk. Tony blushed as his folded arms dropped to his side.

"W-who said I like her?" Tony asked nervously.

"You, dude, 'cause it's written all over your face. Like every time you talk to her your eyes light up and I'm pretty sure you never stop looking at her." Rhodey said. Tony's blush deepened.

"I do not!" Tony said defensively. Rhodey chuckled.

"Dude, you're doing it right now." He said. Tony grunted.

"I am not!" He said, although he didn't bother to take his eyes off of Pepper.

"Then look at me."

"I can't right now, I'm…uh…making sure the armor is okay…" Tony said nervously, looking desperately for an excuse. He hated to admit it, but Rhodey was right. Every time he looked at her he found he couldn't look away.

Rhodey merely chuckled at his love-struck friend as he turned and headed for the door, telling Pepper about everything she'd learn about her armor, before realizing that she was getting in the armor as he spoke.

That kid is so clueless…

Just a little oneshot I thought up…because this is how it SHOULD have gone during this scene, except it DIDN'T…I mean, I was really hoping someone would at least acknowledge the fact that Tony totally likes Pepper…but did anyone? NO. They never even said the words 'I love you'. DX But anyways, review!
