Prompt: Fall into You – Avril Lavigne

Hotch looked up at Emily and said "Emily let go. I'll catch you when you fall."

Emily shook her head. "If I let go Hotch I'm going to fall into you."

Hotch sighed. He wished that she would listen to his words and really listen. Yes he knew she needed to let go so that she could get down from where she was at but he also wanted her to fall into him because he was in love with her and knew that she was in love him. She was just too scared to admit to how she felt towards him.

Emily looked down at Hotch and said "My arms are getting tired from hanging. Are you sure you will catch me if I fall?"

Hotch smiled and said "Emily I'll always catch you when you fall. I'll never get tired of catching you when you fall. Now come on Sweetheart let go and just fall. I'll catch you I promise."

Emily's heart started to beat faster in her chest at his words. She closed her eyes and let go of what she was holding onto. She felt herself free fallin and then she was in Hotch's arms bridal style.

"You caught me." Emily said breathlessly.

Hotch smiled and bent his head slightly and kissed Emily tenderly before saying "I told you I would catch you Sweetheart. I will always catch you when you fall. I love you Emily and I'm sorry that it has taken me this long to tell you."

Emily wrapped her arms around Hotch's neck and then pulled his head down for a thourough kiss and once she broke the kiss she said "I'm glad that you will catch me Aaron because I fell for you a while ago. I love you."

Hotch smiled at Emily's words and said "We can catch one another."

Emily smirked at Hotch and said with her tongue in cheek "Just don't make a habit out of falling Aaron. I don't think I could catch you like you could me."

Hotch laughed at that and said "You little heathen. Then again from now on you're my little heathen."

Emily smiled at that and whispered "I'm yours and your mine. I do love you Aaron."

Hotch smiled at that. He could hear the love in her voice and see it in her eyes.

He bent his head and kissed her one last time before setting her on the ground standing in front of him and said "I love you too Emily. Are you ready to go home now that we got the cat out of that tree? I still can't believe you climbed a tree to rescue a cat. What were you thinking woman?"

Emily laughed and shook her head. "I wasn't thinking but yes I'm ready to head home."

Hotch smiled and wrapped his arm around his new woman and led her all the way to his home. He wasn't ready for her to go back to her apartment yet. He wanted to spend some more time with her.
