AN: Sorry to be behind, again, but RL has been crazy busy. I just need to get caught up, and then all those stories that are sitting in a folder in my inbox can be read! (I never read before I post my own, so they tend to build up, lol). Sorry no happy dog stories :( More of a cat person myself.

That's him. My little brother. Daddy had made him mine. I know I need to watch for him. Daddy isn't feeling well after Mommy died. I don't feel well either, but I know Sammy needs me. He's too small to protect himself. He knows something is wrong, that someone is missing. He just doesn't understand who. I know he feels better when I'm with him. I can feel it.
Daddy, he needs me, too. He just doesn't know it. That's okay. Daddy and Sammy, they're all I have. I'm not gonna let them go.
They're mine to keep, for always.
