Complete Randomness!
"Why me?"
"Because you're so responsible."
Aido and Kain were arguing. This time they were debating who should do the shopping this week.
"But I don't want to go into town," the blonde playboy whined.
"If you go, you can impress Kaname…" Kain said mysteriously. That made the boy stop in his tracks.
"I'm listening"
"Well, if you do the shopping Kaname might let you show around that new student that's coming next week."
"I didn't know there would be a new student…"
"Oh yeah, new girl, 16 years old, Kaname said she was very pretty. And she smelt delicious-"
Kain didn't have to say anymore, Aido had already bolted out of the door grabbing his wallet along the way.
1HOUR LATER
Aido returned to the dorm, clutching about 8 bags full of shopping. He dropped them on the floor and collapsed onto the couch, totally overworked. As all this happened, Kamame was walking down the stairs.
"Aido? You did the shopping?" Kaname questioned. Since when does Aido willingly do work for others?
Aido jumped up from the couch at the sound of Kaname's voice.
"Hai, Kaname – sama." The blonde proudly confirmed.
"Maybe you should reward him by letting him show the new girl around next week," Kain spoke. Kaname raised his eyebrows at the tall student but Kain flashed him a look that said 'play along and you won't regret it'.
"Ah yes, you can meet her in here bright and early on Wednesday morning Aido." Aido's face fell slightly; he would have to get up that early? 'Oh well' he thought, 'at lest I get to meet a cute young girl…'
WEDNESDAY
It was late afternoon and Aido was still waiting for the girl to arrive. He was fuming by now 'Why isn't she here yet?' he thought. He sat down and sighed. 'Well she can't be much longer now... Kaname – sama will be so pleased I stayed up for her!'
Little did Aido know that behind the staircase, Kain, Ruka and Kaname were struggling to hold in their laughter. Kain had his hand over Ruka's mouth and was using his free hand to hold onto Kaname for support. The pureblood himself was having difficulties as he heard some glass smash in the distance. That was when Ruka whispered quietly,
"There is no new student is there Kain?"
"Nope, it'll teach Aido to stop stealing my underwear just because he is too lazy to wash his own. He's even worse than Takuma!"
The trio collapsed on the floor, laughing silently like maniacs…
And from that day forward Aido never found out what happened to his 'Mystery Girl' and was very confused why his cousin, Ruka and Lord Kaname laughed every time he mentioned it…
