"Hikaru…" Kaoru said nervously.
"Yeah," Hikaru mumbled through his sleep deprived state.
"I think Haruhi knows. About us. And has talked to Kyouya. Her boyfriend, Kyouya. I'm scared, brother," Kaoru replied terrified.
Hikaru now alert and on guard just warned him to double his guard around the host club members. Any sign of suspicion that they really were committing incest would bring them and their family down the drain. They would be commoners.

Haruhi was suspicious of the twins trying to hide that they really were in a relationship. Hide it from the Dark King, Kyouya, and the equally now twisted and corrupted by the twins and a certain Dark King, Haruhi. This all coming from the fact that Tamaki refused to believe she could protect herself. However, this was a story for another day.
"Haruhi, you said you wouldn't tell the feelings we confided in you while we adopted you and your father into the family, our third twin," Hikaru cried. Always more for blame and emotion, Hikaru's raw betrayal left pain in her heart.
The hope that they were wrong in Kaoru's eyes hurt just as much.
"I didn't tell, everybody had known for months when you two admitted that fact to me. We all are just hurt by the fact that you continued to hide it afterwards. Tamaki is still in France with his mother and really dense. Nobody but the real host club knows," Haruhi reassured him.
Intense relief immediately showed on the boys face. Quickly followed by sorrow, pain, reluctance, and determinedness flitted through the boys easy to see emotions.
After the true host club was gathered, the original one + Haruhi – Tamaki, the twins explained they had been dating each other for 2 months and had gone to 3rd base. Though how they were able to say this without breaking down was all because of Haruhi.
"Thank you all so much. When we marry in a country it is legal in you'll all be invited and we'll find a way around this law. After all… we couldn't reproduce could we," in union saying all of that and smirking at the end, the boys' friends were very proud of them.
Ten years later when they were married (courtesy of California's laws) and coddled their godson's, courtesy of Kyouya and Haruhi (Mori and Honney had gotten together a year before the twins), and they all stayed close.
