This is my story that I've been planning to write called "Young" and this is the introduction chapter, so you can understand the characters early on and know what to expect. Below you will see the names of the characters in the story, their bio, their personality and just who they are as people. This won't give you all the information in the story, but it will give you info on the characters. This story is located in a city I created called Jasper City, which is located in Southern California. This is not being done in Canada everyone, as apposed to many High School stories here.

Main Characters

Humphrey Lawson: Humphrey is a 17 year old wolf and attends Jasper High School. Being the main male protagonist in this story, he is very a kind yet sarcastic kind of person. Him and his brother are different, but similar in ways. Humphrey is more kind and cares for others to a higher degree than his brother does. Humphrey is a talented singer and is the lead singer for his band that him and his friends formed at the beginning of high school. His father, Chris Lawson, owns a car dealership with his mother, Amber. He is currently in love with a girl named Kate, who he fell for many years ago. Humphrey also has a brother, Shady. Humphrey plays for the school football team as a linebacker.

Even though Humphrey is the singer for the band, he can also play other instruments. He took piano lessons as a child with Shady, courtesy of their mother. He can play electric and acoustic guitar, although you can thank his brother for teaching him the basics, after that he learned how to play the rest himself.

Shady Lawson: Shady is also 17 years old and attends the same school as Humphrey. He and Humphrey are brothers and Shady's fur color has been changed to match Humphrey's. Shady now has the same fur as Humphrey, but with red streaks. Shady is an interesting character, he enjoys messing with people, pushing buttons, making sarcastic (and quite often, assholish ones as well) comments. Humor and Sarcasm are his biggest tools and he tends to use them quite a lot. Although he is a very sarcastic and humor filled person, Shady tends to be quite distant when it comes to getting personal or speaking about his feelings, he gets annoyed or even angry when the topic is brought up. But he is also quite the popular ladies' man at the school, being able to get with girls pretty easily. But he is currently in a relationship with Chrystal Smith, one of Garth's previous exes.

Shady, being Humphrey's brother, is also a member of their band. He is the current lead guitarist and backing vocalist, succeeding in vocal ranges or areas where Humphrey just simply cannot reach or do all by himself. He taught himself how to play guitar when he got his first with the money he saved up at age 13. Him, and their friends J-Dog/Jacob and Salty all learned how to play guitar from the listening to the Nirvana album, "Nevermind"

Kate Williams: Kate is 17 years old and she goes to Jasper High School. Kate's quite the popular one at Jasper High, ever since she came to this school she achieved almost instant popularity along with her sister, mainly due to the fact that she is dating Garth. She is an exceptional student and and her father is Senator Winston Williams. Kate is good friends with Humphrey, but never felt any thing more than friendship, although there were times where she thought about it. She began to date Garth sophomore year and they've been ever since, it is now senior year. She and her sister are two of the most beautiful girls in their school.

Kate is the main female protagonist in this story, being turned into a different way then she is portrayed in the movie "Alpha and Omega". Although she does posses many of the same qualities that make her who she is, she is still different. I see this Kate as a kind, caring, sweet, outgoing, yet not stuck up or bitchy in any way. There are times when her mother comes out, but not as much as it did in the movie unfortunately. If you're looking for that Kate, then I'm sorry, she's not here. You can't really make that "determined and strong alpha" that she is in the movie in a high school setting story. It doesn't work, I'm sorry.

Jenna Williams: Jenna is 17 and Kate's sister. Jenna is a little different from her sister Kate, she tends to be more positve and even a little stuck up herself. She's kind of the crowd girl, the girl everyone else wants and not what she wants. She is in a current relationship with Shawn "Steele" Thompson, a wide receiver on the football team and Garth's best friend. She was pretty good friends with Shady in middle school, along with her sister and his brother. They dated in 8th grade for a few months, but nothing really happened. It didn't really affect their friendship, but they did kind of go separate ways when High School began.

Lesser But Recurrent Characters

Sarah Lawson: Humphrey and Shady's older sister, who is currently in college. She is a few years older than them, but since she is still in college she lives with her parents.

Garth Drakon: Garth is probably what most people call, an "arrogant dick". He's pretty egotistical and and even narcissistic in some ways. Garth has easily climbed the ranks of popularity and did so years ago, and being the team captain for the football team with a great arm helps too. He's the team captain as I mentioned and quarterback, and also is currently dating Kate.

Garth's father Tony is very wealthy, and best friends with Kate and Jenna's father Winston. Although not in politics, he is founder of a large Corporation known as "Drakon Enterprises" Which would explain Garth's snobbery and pride as well.

Shawn "Steele" Thompson: Big man Shawn! This is the type of guy you're afraid of at school, the guy who probably hit you for just looking at him wrong. He gained the name "Steele" years ago but for obvious reasons. The guy's strong as steel, and is quite the bodybuilder too. He's Garth's best friend, whatever that means, and is dating Jenna Williams. He's kind of got a similar attitude and personality as Garth, twins in a way, but Steele is obviously stronger and bigger than Garth. Linebacker is probably the best position to give him on the team and that's why he chose it, he just wants to hit people.

Jacob "J-dog" Decker: J-dog is a friend of Humphrey and Shady and have been friends since elementary school. Jacob has mainly red fur with a white underbelly and green eyes. He is a wide receiver for the football team, he is also in the band with Humphrey and Shady. He plays mainly Rhythm guitar, but sometimes adds in backing vocals with Shady.

Mathew "Mooch" Taylor: Mooch is one of their friends since childhood, he is a very talented drummer.

Samson "Shakey" Locke: Shakey is the band's keyboardist and turntablist. He knows how to play many instruments, but prefers keyboards and turntables. He is also a very good mixer and producer, computers are also a big interest and talent for him.

Mike "Salty" Jones: Salty is the band's lead bassist and also does backing vocals. He learned to play guitar with Shady and Jacob, but he eventually found out that bass was the instrument for him. Salty is a blunt, mean, and downright prick of a character, a lot like Shady is actually.
