it goes back to the story of mw2 when ghost gets shot. luckily they had not got even a drop of gasoline on him he may of seemed dead but he dug for his life to escape this horrible fate. he pulled off his mask and his face was revealed. then escaped shepherd and watched him die. he payed his final respects to roach then he went.

he lived a normal life and started a family when he saw on the news, thousands of people were killed in London by a bomb.
he knew this was makarovs fault but if he did anything he would be killed.
