"You seem happy today." Koala said as she drinks some water. I grin, showing my fangs as I sit across from her.
"That's because today is a special day."
"Which is?"
"Your birthday, Koala." I said. A smile appears on her face while putting the glass down "I have a special present for you, darling."
"Aww you shouldn't have."
"But I have to because it's your birthday." She rolls her eyes, shaking her head before looking at me.
"So what are we going to do on my birthday?" I smirk before answering.
"A lot of things, my friend."
During the whole day, Koala and I did some many things on the island. We ate ice cream, look at some birds, watch the fishes in the water, and all kinds of stuff. We also play in the sand a bit before watching the sunset on the hill.
As we watch the sunset, Koala sighs before smiling "this is nice."
"What's nice?" She giggles before looking at me.
"Well, two girls having fun, spending their day by eating ice cream, bird watching, playing in the sand." She looks back at the sunset and smiles "it was very nice of you to do that for me."
"You're welcome and besides it is your birthday." I said watching the sunset as it began to turn dark. We continued to watch as stars start to appear on the black void; which called the sky. As we stare at the stars, a sudden realization struck me, making me gasp "oh my god."
"What is it?" Koala asks facing me. I didn't say nothing as I took out a small box from my pants, face my friend and hand her the box.
"Happy birthday." She blinks her eyes, confuse in seeing a box in my hand before taking it gently. She looks at the box for a bit before opening it. When she open it, a gasp escape from her, and covering her mouth. In the box is a silver bracelet with sapphire gems in a shape of hearts.
She looks up at me, still in shock as I smile "so you like it?" She uncovered her mouth, blink her eyes and spoke.
"Like it?" Soon a smile appears on her face "love it. Thank you, Tiarra." I chuckles as she puts on the bracelet before hugging me "thank you so much."
"You're welcome and happy birthday." I said as we pull back from the hug. Suddenly, a familiar voice was heard thus, catching our attention.
"Koala, Tiarra." We look down to see Sabo waving at us, and smiling "come down here. Everyone is waiting for you guys."
"Okay, we're coming." I yelled before standing up and looking at Koala "ready to go, birthday girl?"
"You bet." She said standing up before running down the hill "last one there is a stinky pirate."
"Hey, that's not fair." I ran down the hill, chasing after her "you cheated."
