The mysterious twos where about story continues!

It's about time to unfold Vampire Diaries again!

~Happy Ending~

It was quite an eerie place with thick fogs and hazy shapes. But what made it unbearable was...

Silence...

It was like heaven for its peace... yet hell for its stillness...

And no alive being has ever been there... nor any dead ones.

It was just a place that existed for two people—a man and a woman— that both weren't dead or alive.

They were not dead. Nor were they alive.

In fact, they never should have existed, yet, they were there.

The atmosphere in the silent place was terrible. Silent it may be, but it was full of despair and uncertainty. For it was the feeling of those two living beings... and there was nothing to do.

Except that, there was still hope.

Keep on believing... the man told himself as he opened his eyes to the hazy arena. You'll find her...

He wasn't dead, he knew that. No matter how many times he put that in his mind, he knew he was alive.

But just where exactly is he?

Just then he thought more than he felt someone hold his hand and had to look at her.

God, if only she was her instead... he'd give up anything to be with her.

The woman beside him sensed his thoughts and rolled her eyes.

'Like there's any romance at all with us holding hands, Damon.' She thought deeply.

'I'll be damned,' was the man's response as they both continue to go in the flow of their heaven.

'I had a dream.' The woman then thought quietly, 'of my grams.'

Damon, if possible, looked at his companion with raised eyebrows.

'Really, Bonnie? You dreamt of your grandma? Makes me think since I've been dreaming of Stefan and Elena. So why not Jeremy?'

'Shut it. This is serious. My grams was saying something on my dream... about us getting out of here.'

'Yeah, right.'

'No, she's serious. Don't joke around with my grams now, Damon.'

'Yup. Witchy ancestor grandamother to the rescue. Well, what did she say? Do we have to do something to get out of this place?'

'Yeah.' Bonnie hesitated, 'she said she already gave us a way... only, it must be found by people living on that side... otherwise we'll be stuck here.'

Damon sighed.

'That's just great, leaving it for others to find, huh? Really smart.'

'You don't get it. Anyways, grams said in finding it... sacrifices will have to be made again.'

'Right. You think there's someone out there stupid enough to be still looking for us? Who knows how long we've been here? And then expect them to make sacrifices? For real?'

He shot Bonnie an incredulous look only to find her staring at him seriously.

Damon frowned. And then his frowned deepened as he understood.

'You don't mean... that stupid...MY stupid?'

'There are still stupid ones like that. Or two.' Bonnie ended the conversation and disappeared in the hazy mist, leaving Damon on his own thoughts and to his own brother and girlfriend. But between the two of them, he knew one would really jump it... someone willing to sacrifice even himself for the sake of a love one... someone stupid like that.

'Come on, Stef,' he muttered as he too, disappeared in the hazy horizon, 'don't be stupid.'

And everything went ambiguous with no regards to time, place... or lives.

And Bonnie's voice came again.

'You're even stupider to think he won't come, Damon.'
