My first fanfic! I haven't played Ghost Trick in a while. Sorry if the story isn't accurate.

No one was awaiting Yomiel's return. Even though he is just a spirit in a shell, he wanted to see his dear Sissel again. Though when he did, no one was there. The apartment flat was completely empty and dark, just as his heart was. There was a single piece of paper lying in the middle of the room. Yomiel bent down and grasped it in his hands. There, in neat, cursive writing, was his fiancee's last thought. 'I'm coming to you, Yomiel.'

Yomiel stood in the center of the room, carefully folding the note and placing it in his pocket. He watched the white walls, not knowing how to react. Had she really taken her own life, because of his death? He came for her. She shouldn't have been the one coming for him. Sissel was a strong person. She probably waited for him to return home, denying his death. Yomiel guessed that she waited for too long and finally accepted that he passed on to the other side.

It was if only the apartment was waiting for him. Waiting for a ghost to roam inside it for eternity. Something in Yomiel began to ache. Even though he couldn't feel anything anymore, he could still feel the unbearable pain in his soul. He rose his clenched fists and was ready to let his agony puncture the wall. Instead, he sat on the floor, trying to figure out what to do next. He buried his face in his hands, wondering how many tears his dear Sissel shed for him. Wondering how many tears he will shed for her. One by one, his tears of hopelessness and pain, rolled down behind his glasses and cheeks.

He had nothing to look forward to, no where to go. If he hadn't run into that park and took that girl as temporary hostage, that damned meteorite would have never hit him. Though he couldn't blame a meteorite for his death. He needed someone to blame. Maybe that detective stupid enough to leave a gun in the presence of a suspect? Maybe everyone involved?

Yes, those are the perfect people to blame. It's their fault that hope had left Yomiel. It's their fault his lover took her life.

Yomiel stood up, anger and evil painted on his face. He was going to find everyone involved in his death and return the favour. Before he left the the flat, he took one last glance at the place he wished his beloved Sissel was waiting for him, imagining her waving goodbye as she did every time Yomiel left their home.

He turned away, forcing tears back. He took a step forward, then suddenly heard something. Meow! Meow! ...Meow!

Yomiel's eyes gazed the black cat running towards him. It was skinny and covered in filth. It continued to meow loudly, looking up at him. Yomiel bent down and picked it up, the feline beginning to purr. His lips curved upwards slightly as he petted it.

"Thanks for waiting for me, Sissel."

Please tell me on how I can improve! Thanks!
