All Worth It
The green haired homunculi kept his eyes open the entire time he was being whisked towards the wooden door. No matter how long or hard the journey was, he had his destination in mind: the world beyond the door. Time seemed to pass slower and slower as his body became closer and closer to the portal to another world. Each step closer was an eternity to him.
A smile appeared on his lips at the mere thought of killing his creator. Hohenheim will pay for all of the hell he caused. He will die… slowly and painfully. Stopping his train of thought he noticed that the door was slowly creaking open, exposing the creatures inside. Each of the beings of darkness looked hungry, smiling at the presence of Envy. They would consume his flesh and make it their own.
'It would be all worth it,' he told himself as the darkness from the door started to wrap around his limbs and waist. The darkness dragged him in and closed the door taking away any means of escape. As the creatures started tearing at Envy's flesh, he knew that he was getting closer to Hohenheim.
Each piece of his body missing was another step closer. The creatures started to rip away his flesh slowly, trying to see if their new toy would scream. He did not. In time, they stopped tearing at him. The remains of his body sank into oblivion.
Into darkness…
To the new world.
The darkness around him slowly changed into the new world.
A world without Alchemy,
A world with airships,
With pain…
And death.
In a new form, Envy arrived into this world. He knew that Hohenheim and his son were somewhere in this forsaken place. And now he was there, to make their lives a living hell again.
