My first Tangled fanfic YAY! This takes place while Eugene rescues Repunzel from Gothal's clutches and his getting stabbed.
I was watching the film an when Eugene jumped off of Max's back and entered the tower, I immediately thought what about poor Max. This is what I think he did while the others were in the tower.
As usual please review they motivate me to keep writing. Thanks again and enjoy.
Max looked up at the entrance of the tower.
'' Where are they'' Max started getting nervous. It didn't take long to climb up there but now, this was taking too long .Maximus started pacing back and forth at the base of the tower impatiently.
Suddenly out of nowhere crying and shouts echoed from within the tower. This was enough for the horse's last nerve. He pulled his ears forward trying to make out who the sounds belonged to. Max thought just for a moment, he had heard Eugene grunt, but it was disappeared to soon to know for sure.
Then everything went deathly quiet...
The silence seemed endless, until more shouts were heard. Max suddenly glanced up in time to see something fall out of the tower (Gothal) and plummet to the ground. Max made his way over to it coarsely. I was just a cape and an ancient one at that. Max sniffed it and immediately pulled back from it. It smelt of blood, dust and something else. A scent he couldn't recognise. But in all those other scents hidden under them, Max could vaguely smell Repunzel and Eugene.
Max Looked back up at the tower. Worry and desperation were evident in his eyes. Where were they? Max lowered his head in defeat and despair.
A soft breeze blew. It played with the stallion's silver main and tail. Max barely noticed though, until he heard laughing. Max lifted his head and there walking towards him were Eugene and Repunzel. Hand in hand, with smiles gracing their faces.
Immediately Max's demeanour picked up. He neighed excitedly as Repunzel gently stroked his nose. Funny enough he was even happy to see Eugene. Max then noticed the blood stain on Eugene's shirt. It smelt fresh but from their smiling faces he could tell it wasn't of any concern.
His friends were safe and that was good enough for the noble stallion. Eugene helped Repunzel onto Max's back he couldn't help but smile evilly. Once she was securely on his back Max waited until the last second till Eugene was just about to mount when he took off.
'' MAXIMUS! Get back here. Wait for me!'' Eugene ran after the pair shouting curses at Max. He and Repunzel just laughed. Max neighed excitedly as he lead Repunzel and the shouting Eugene back towards the Kingdom.
