Hello, world! :D I wrote a fanfic. It's quick and it's super short, but I still wanted to get something done for the Dannyversary, even if I am the last one to cross the finish line. XD Oh, and Danny Phantom belongs to a man named Butch and a TV network called Nickelodeon. There, that takes care of the disclaimer, right? I may actually add more to this later too, (because I honestly feel that it's way too short) but we'll see. I'm not exactly the best at updating.
Man's best friend
Death was a funny thing. Once you died, that was it; you weren't alive anymore. Of course, if you were already dead to begin with, could you honestly be killed again?
"Yes." decided the figure that was standing on a hill overlooking his home town of Amity Park. "Yes, you could."
He was there not to admire the sun that was slowly setting in the distance or even the birds that were singing their final song of the day. No, Danny Phantom, resident ghost boy and self declared hero of Amity Park, was there to say goodbye to a friend.
"Or…what remains of them." whispered the teen as he examined the small, makeshift tombstone in front of him.
The earth was fresh; the only sign that something had recently been buried just a few feet below its surface.
Danny really wished that he could have done more then an old shoebox and a cylindrical, glass container that he had swiped from his parents' lab, but there had been no time.
"They would have shot at me like they had shot at you."
Falling to the ground, Phantom could feel the tears start to well in his eyes as he stared at the name that he had used his Ghost Ray to inscribe.
"Cujo, buddy, I…I am so so sorry."
Annnnnnd done. XD Yeah, pretty bare bones, I know, but, hey, I at least did something. Hard to believe that this show has been around for ten years now. Danny may never get any more new episodes, but he will always have his Phans. *nods*
Keep on flying, ghost boy. Keep on flying.
