The eyes.
She could not help but gaze into them.
They were the first things she saw and the first things that instigated the crush.
When everyone hated the redhead, or at least were supposed to, she could not get the woman's eyes out of her head.
That flowing mass of crimson that sprouted from her head, and that amazing figure sealed the deal. Not to mention those lips.
But the eyes...
"Wolfie...?"
Ruby snapped out of it right then, though that voice of the redhead's could seduce the goth to commit murder if it lead to that...
"What are you staring at, Rubes?"
"Your eyes, Z...your eyes..." The second part Ruby whispered to Zelena as the both lay naked under the sheets. The witch's skin was turning emerald at the sound of the werewolf's. It was not just jealousy that turned her skin, it was any intense emotion. And right now that emotion was love.
And as for Ruby, Zelena's green naked skin and red flowing hair just accentuated those ice blue eyes. Ruby kept her gaze as she draped her pale arms around her lover's green neck. "You do know, Z, I have developed a major crush on you." Ruby was playful and seductive. So was Zelena's response...
"Lift your right hand..." Ruby followed her lover's orders. "Now look at your 4th finger..." There was the platinum gold diamond eternity wedding ring that Regina and Emma helped Zelena craft herself...a matching ring on the witch's finger. The ring was almost as dazzling as the translucent orbs Ruby had been staring at all night.
"That," Zelena playfully mentioned, "is a little reminder that you have all the time in the world...like, say, forever...to look into my eyes.. Then the redhead used her arms to pull the brunette even closer to her. "And besides, do you know what today is...?
"Noooooo...what, Z..?"
"Well you did say I was your crush...and since this is National Kiss-Your-Crush day..."
"You're kidding, right..."
Zelena shook her head, smiled, then drew that head towards Ruby so that their foreheads were touching. "It's true, my dear. And since I am your...crush..." Wolves were never slow on the uptake and Ruby did not need any additional prompting. Ruby's kiss was soft, deep and passionate, Zelena's return volley was even more so...
And when they broke that kiss, Ruby resumed looking into Zelena's eyes. All the redhead could do was smile at her woman. And then they kissed again. And again. And again.
After all, it was National Kiss-Your-Crush Day. And since Ruby was Zelena's crush...well...
