Disclaimer: Okay come on if I really own Harry Potter would I be writing this fan fic?

Ron

"How could I? How could I?"

I couldn't help her essence was so overwhelming It took everything not to say no to her and it still wasn't enough. I thought she could give everything; everything Hermione refused to put up. I knew what I was doing was wrong; it took so much to lie to Hermione everyday. Soon it was just too much.

Present Time

About 3 a.m. I snuck back into the flat Hermione and I share. Naturally I expected Hermione to be asleep and over exhausted from her healing job at St.Mungos. Boy was I surprised to see her sitting on the couch glaring at me.

"Ron where have you been I've been waiting for you for 8 hours! Did you forget we were supposed to double date with Harry and Ginny?! Honestly! I called you work, your mother, Bill," she said counting people on her fingers,"Charlie, Harry…"Her list could have went on and on but I pressed my lips firmly against hers.

"Look don't worry so much okay? I still had a couple of things to finish after work, and then I went to the pub for a few hours. I'm sorry I missed our date I promise I'll make it up to you." Her demeanor slightly changed and she actually looked apologetic before she said….

"Whatever." And promptly marched back into the bedroom.

What a relief! Ron thought grinning. There could be no downside to this…then again there could be.

What if she found out?Ron shook his head.

That will never happen I wont let it.

Hermione

I sat near a large bay window in a muggle café in London waiting for Ginny. Around ten minutes later she walked in with a smug look on her face.

"What's got you looking so happy?" I question as the waiter came by to take our order.

"Oh nothing. Sorry I'm late I was leaving and suddenly I was a bit…um..distracted….by Harry." She answered grinning.

"I thought you had." I sighed unhappily envious of Ginny. I stayed up all night thinking about Ron. Normally Ron wouldn't be so careless as to forget a date but lately…Ginny waved her hand in front of my face snapping me out of my thoughts.

"What's got you looking so glum? She asked me with concern.

"Nothing. Well…um..kind of something. You see, Ron has been coming home lately extremely late. Also he's been forgetting all our dates, and becoming very distant. Ginny I am positively distraught!" I groaned and hit my head against the table.

"Hey! Hey! Its perfectly okay I guess he has pre-wedding jitters. Just give him a little time Hermione it'll all be fine. I promise." She said grabbing her hand and giving it a gentle squeeze.

"I hope so."
