Sherlock Holmes and John Watson are inseparable, in the cosmic sense.
No matter what universe one is from, Sherlock Holmes and John Watson are going to be together in some way, shape, or form. Try to separate them, and the universe protests. Their meeting is a factor that must always happen, no matter the consequences. It is a cosmic inevitability. It cannot not happen. There is no way to prevent it.
No matter how one says it, these two men will meet in some form.
There are an infinite number of possible meeting and possible series of events, to match an infinite number of universes. There is no conceivable way of portraying them all.
One thing is for certain, however:
