She stood outside the infirmary, her hands shaking and the tray in the hand almost tipping over. It may have been wrong, but she couldn't sit outside and do nothing, any longer. Being his wife, she had the right. But her pleas had fallen on deaf ears. No one but medical personnel were to have any contact with him. Including family. So she had to resort to desperate measures. Her friend, Helen was a nurse in the infirmary and about the same size and had borrowed her uniform. If caught, she agreed that she would say that it was all her fault and she had stolen the uniform without Helen knowing.

As she got nearer to the doors, she stopped just in front of the guard who had been positioned outside the room. He looked at her, a small sign of recognition. Shelley looked down at her uniform, hoping that it fitted properly.

"I'm here to give him his pain medication," she said.

Trying to use a different accent to her mid western drawl. The guard nodded, using his key card to open the door.

Shelley moved inside slowly, seeing her husband sitting on the hospital bed, his legs dangling over the edge. She smiled, watching as he moved his legs up and down, hoping that the personality she was about to come into contact wasn't the boy or the sovereign.

She placed the tray down on the side of the bed, making sure that those in the observation room, didn't see her face. In her hand, she held a plastic cup of water. She handed it to him, finally managing to look at him.

Her heart sank as he looked at her, no clue as to who she was!

"Here," she whispered, handing him a tablet.

Daniel swallowed it in one go, taking down a few gulps of water.

Shelley reached up, taking the glass from his hand. For a moment, her hand touched his. His eyes looked at her. For a moment, she thought that he recognised her, as he smiled.

"Daniel," she whispered, brushing her hand against his face.

Then it faded away.

"You are speaking to the original inhabitant of this body?" he asked.

Shelley nodded.

"He's my husband,""My name is Tryan. I am very sorry,"

She closed her eyes. Listening to his voice, but not his words.

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have… I just needed to see…"

Shelley turned, picking up the tray and ran towards the exit.

In the control room, the lone figure that was watching them. Stood from his chair, following the Botanist down the corridor.

"Shelley," he called out.

The redhead stopped, turning to see her brother standing behind her.

"Don't," she said, tears filling up in her eyes. "I just wanted to see him."

Jack's heart broke at seeing his sister in such pain.

"You know you could be fired for breaking protocol like that. You've broken atleast a dozen rules by going in there. Not to mention impersonating a medical member of staff."

"I know and I don't care."

For a moment, Jack smiled, seeing his own disregard for rules in his sister.

"If it had been anyone else but me. You'd be in a cell right now,"

"Are you going to tell General Hammond?" she asked.

Jack shook his head.

"Of course not. Just go and get out of that uniform before someone sees you,"

Shelley nodded, feeling the tears rolling down her face.

She continued down the corridor, heading into the store room where she had gotten changed into the nurse's uniform. It hadn't made her feel any better by seeing Daniel. It had only made her miss him more.
