Canada was a very observant person. He supposed it came from being completely forgotten ninety-nine percent of the time. Since he was forced to go to every single pointless conference and meeting the nations had, he had plenty of time on his hands. He spent most of it watching everyone around him interact. It provided him with enough blackmail material to land at least half the nations in serious trouble. Sure, he would probably never use any of it, but it was still incredibly satisfying.

For example, who would know that Italy – sweet, innocent Italy – had cheated on Germany?

Or that China had the ability to traverse realms?

And that the Magic Trio's magic really did exist?

How did he know this? Simple. He looked. Invisibility was incredibly useful to spy on people without even having to try. Canada had followed Italy on a whim one day to discover him in bed with some random woman. It was all incredibly cliché. The same thing had happened too many times to count. He'd follow some random nation, discovered their Deep Dark Secret, get some proof and add to his collection. And really, how the fuck did no one notice that Romania avoided getting hit direct sunlight, never showed a reflection and had fangs?

So you get the idea. Canada saw all, heard all, about all.

Currently, he was in a World Meeting. This would be nothing new, if not for the fact that it wasn't Germany leading it, but Prussia. He had stormed in, laughing at something with France and Spain.

'What are you doing here?' demanded Romano instantly.

Ruby eyes rolled to the ceiling.

'Same as you,' sassed Prussia. 'Going to the meeting.'

'You're not a nation anymore though!' America said bluntly.

Canada winced.

'Neither is North Italy, but he still goes to the meetings, right? I'm here as East Germany, not Prussia. West's sick and I'm standing in.'

Canada had stopped paying attention at that point, instead getting caught up in staring at Prussia. Prussia was the only Nation the Canadian knew that saw him all of the time, was incredibly good looking, in a slightly freaky way, and his only real friend. Well, the only one who didn't regularly beat him up. Point was, he was the one Nation he didn't gather any blackmail on, out of the simple notion that friends didn't blackmail friends. Not that he'd ever blackmail anyone else, or, you know, hold their attention long enough to blackmail, but that was beside the point.

Canada bit his lip.

Prussia grinned and tossed his long fringe out of his eyes. (Since when was it that long?!)

Blood trickled out of the cut on his lip.

Making up his mind, Canada marched over to Prussia's seat.

'Erm, Prussia?'

The albino turned his head over to him.

'Oh, hey Birdie!'

'Listen, I-I need to tell you something. It's about your brother.'

Prussia tensed, frowning in confusion.

'What about West?'

The blonde sighed, fiddling with his shirt.

'Ah, well... I don't know how to say it..' he took a deep breath. 'I saw Italy cheating on Germany.'

Prussia froze.

'What?' he whispered hoarsely.

Nodding fiercely, Canada pulled out his phone, scrolling and clicking before getting to the very familiar video. By the end, Prussia was shaking, whether from rage, or something else, he couldn't tell.

'I tried to tell Germany, but...' Canada shrugged tensely.

'I can't believe this... Naive little Italy...' Prussia shook his head. He looked at the other nation again.

'Thank you for telling me this Birdie.'

He smiled.

'I had to make sure Germany found out about this.'

And if it brought him and Prussia closer together, who was he to complain?
