Chapter 1-
I sat on the bus sitting next to Rachel staring out the window at the rainy highway street. The music was blaring through my headphones as I glanced at the brunette sitting next to me. She was laughing at something Finn said and she had never looked so beautiful. She noticed me staring and smiled as I smiled back at her. It's not that I like her or anything it's just that I think she's beautiful. I kept my eyes on her all the way to nationals.
We are at nationals now and Rachel and I are waiting backstage to do our duet to "Fallin For You". Next thing I know I'm singing on the national's stage with Rachel Berry. When I look at her to smile the spotlight shines on her and her beautiful brunette hair starts to sparkle just like her sparkling brown eyes. All I know is all the other performances were amazing but with Rachel Berry on stage were surely going to win. Her voice had never been so beautiful and talented before. I've never pictured her like this or felt like this before. After our duet vocal adrenaline comes up and they are singing "Glad You Came", they were the last performance. We were in the top three for the ranking, so then it became time to announce the winner. I didn't think senior year could get any better and then they called William McKinley, New Directions first place at nationals we all started screaming and cheering! We all had a group hug and me and Rachel had an individual hug and that's when I realized that I loved Rachel Berry.
