NOTE: I don't own any FF7 characters. I tried to buy just one, but
couldn't.
The Aftermath
Cloud stood alone in the middle of nowhere. Total darkness surrounded him. Not again, he thought gloomily. He knew what was coming next. That didn't make it any easier.
"Hello, Cloud."
That cold, callous voice would never be forgotten.
"Sephiroth!" yelled Cloud.
"You've been very bad Cloud. You killed me. You killed me..." said Sephiroth.
"Shut up! Leave me alone!" screamed Cloud.
His head felt sore but he knew it shouldn't. This was just a dream. Correction, a nightmare.
"But still I live on. I live as a part of this planet, fool. And one day, you will join me. We will be a part of the Lifestream together. That is the destiny of every soul on this planet. Cloud, that is your destiny. Ha ha ha." Get out of my subconscious, thought Cloud. Just leave me be. He'd dreamt this, or a variation of this, many times. It felt like Sephiroth was talking to him from the Lifestream.
Then Sephiroth disappeared. Cloud found himself standing in Tifa's 'Seventh Heaven.' Tifa was kissing Cait Sith! They kept stopping, looking at Cloud and giggling, then kissing again.
"Huh?" said Cloud.
Barret came running in. He looked at Cloud.
"Hello lover," said Barret. What the hell is wrong with my subconscious?
"Cloud, make love to me, dammit," barked Barret.
"This is just a dream..." stammered Cloud.
Everything went dark again. Cloud was almost relieved. Was he going to see Sephiroth again?
"Cloud, why haven't you visited me?" came a girl's voice. Aeris!
"I think you should apologize, Cloud. It wasn't very nice of you to let me die." No, that wasn't...
"I didn't..."
"And you tried to kill me, Cloud!" Yes, but...
"I couldn't..."
"It's all your fault Cloud." My fault...
"I'm..."
"You killed me, Cloud." Her voice changed when she said 'Cloud.' It had become Sephiroth's voice. Sephiroth was standing in front of him again.
"You killed me, Cloud..."
END
That's it. Thank you for reading. I assume, if your reading this bit you read it. This FF was brought to you by the letters 's' for 'short' and 'l' for 'lazy'.
