Disclaimer: Shockingly, I do not own Ninjago.

It was the middle of the night, a young teenage boy was walking down the street in a black hoodie, and jeans, with a black duffle bag slung over his shoulder. Even in the middle of the night, Ninjago City is a busy place. The boy passed an alley, and was pulled inside.

"Hey!" He shouted as he faced his attacker, who was dressed like him, but was wearing green.

"Sorry about that but I'd like to talk to you for a second." The stranger said. He pulled back his hood, revealing his dirty-brown hair and green eyes. He looked the same age as the other boy, maybe a little younger.

"Um, okay?" The boy in black said, he didn't know whether this was a normal thing, having never really been in a city, and certainly not one this large.

"My name is Ray." The younger boy said, extending his hand.

"I'm Drake." The other boy responded, shaking Ray's hand.

"This is going to sound beyond crazy, but please hear me out." Ray began in a nervous tone, "Have you ever heard about the elemental ninja?"

"Yeah who hasn't?" Drake responded. It was clear to him that Ray didn't really feel comfortable around strangers. Well, that makes two of us. Drake thought. This conversation was going exactly as they said it would, and Drake was doing an astonishing job at hiding the fact that he knew exactly what Ray was about to say.

"I was sent to find you and four other by my father, Sensei Lloyd Garmadon. I already found the others, and now I just need you. I'm going to take you back to my father's dojo, where all of us will train to become ninja, like our parents, the original ninja."

"You're right that does sound crazy," Drake stated, "but I got nothing better to do so sure."

"Alright that was a lot easier than expected." Ray said, "Do you have anything to go get before we leave?"

"Nope."

"Okay then," Ray said as he pulled a green motorcycle out from behind a trash can. "Hop on." Ray said as he started it up. Drake sat down behind Ray and held on to the seat. Both boys felt rather uncomfortable being so close to another human being, the two were clearly not used to other people.

Ray drove out of the alley way and into the street, making Drake wobble and grab Ray's shoulder to keep hinself on the bike. Inside their own thoughts, the two hated the physical contact and were screaming inside their introverted heads. Ray drove out of the city, which took awhile since they were previously right in the middle of it. After leaving the city, Ray drove towards the giant forest. By the time they reached the clearing, the sun had risen and both boys were tired. In the middle of the rather large clearing was a hill. At the top of the hill was a monastery.

Ray stopped the motorcycle at the bottom of the hill at both boys got off. Drake's legs were stiff from the lack of movement, which added to their usual soreness that has been present as long as he could remember. Shit why did this have to be me? I'll skrew this up for sure. Drake thought. I guess there's no going back now.
