"Ferb!" said Phineas excidedly one summer morning. "I know what we're going to do today! Okay, we'll need a blowtorch and some peanutbutter to start with. Then we'll need Perry. Wait a minute? Where is Perry? Did you see where he went, Ferb?"

Ferb held up his finger and opened his mouth to speak, but Phineas interrupted.

"Hmm. I wonder where he went! Oh well!"

"Well, actually, I saw- " started Ferb.

"Anyway, back to business. We'll also need to get Isabella and the Fireside girls to help. And Buford and Baljeet. All the extra hands we can get. What else do you think we'll need?"

Ferb opened his mouth again, but again Phineas interrupted.

"Yeah, we'll also need snacks for the trip! I'll ask Candace to make us some sandwiches."

"I'm not making sandwiches!" shouted Candace from her room.

"Right," said Phineas, ignoring the comment. He turned to his brother. "Where do you think we can get some titanium?"

"I think we can- " started Ferb, but Phineas finished the sentence for him. Ferb's eye twitched, but his brother didn't notice.

"I think we can get some at Manny's Titanium Shop. I'm sure he'd sell that, considering the name. Now all we have to do is- "

"Shut up!" yelled Ferb. For once, Phineas ceased talking. "You never let me talk! Can you just let me speak for once? The reason I never do speak is because- "

"Ferb, what's wrong, bro?" said Phineas.

"That's why I never talk! Right there! It's you! You never shut up! I'm always trying to speak, but you just blabber away! I don't think a lot of our friends even know I'm from England!"

At that moment, Candace walked into the yard.

"Hey!" she snapped. "Can you two please keep the noise down? I'm trying to talk to Jeremy!" She shook her phone in her hand.

Ferb turned on Candace. "No! I will not keep the noise down!" He poked his sister with his index finger with every word. "I will finally talk! No more Phineas speaking for me! And I'll tell you what, Candace! Can't you just leave us alone for one day? I'm sorry, but you really need to stop fretting over what we're doing! Get a life! Mind your own business!"

"Ferb, calm down!" said Phineas, wide eyed.

"And you!" said Ferb, turning back on his brother. "You never even notice anything, do you? Everything that goes on every day."

"Ferb, what are you talking about?"

"I'm just going to go..." said Candace slowly, pointing into the house. Her brothers didn't pay any attention to her as she left.

"I'm talking about Perry!" said Ferb. "Don't you wonder where he goes every day? I'm talking about Isabella! You don't even notice that she has a huge crush on you! I'm talking about Mom! She has no idea about all the magnificent stuff we've built back here! You never notice anything!"

"What'cha doin'?" came the familiar voice of Isabella Garcia-Shapiro, walking into the backyard.

"I'm talking to Phineas, that's what I'm doing!" said Ferb.

"Actually, Ferb, you're shouting." said Phineas, who had remained fairly calm this whole time.

"I AM NOT SHOUTING!" bellowed Ferb. He paused, looking from Phineas to Isabella. "Okay, maybe I am shouting. But I have to shout, because you never listen to what I'm trying to say!"

"What are you trying to say?" said Phineas innocently.

"AHHH!" shouted Ferb, running from the backyard and away from the house.

Isabella looked after him. "What was that all about?" she asked, shocked.

"I have no idea," said Phineas, innocent as ever. He looked up at Isabella, thinking back to what Ferb said. Nah, he thought. "I think Ferb just had his first meltdown."

At first, Isabella looked slightly concerned, then she shrugged. "Cool."

At that moment, Perry walked into the yard, and made his signature chattering noise.

"Oh, there you are, Perry!" said Phineas.
