First story! So be nice if it sucks.
This story will just be a one-shot on Cato and Clove's relationship through Peeta's eyes.
Takes place during the time Peeta is with the careers in the first book/movie.

Thats all I can see in his eyes when he looks at her. That same look is in her eyes when she looks at him.
Anyone who has eyes can see that their in love.
I bet that that is the same look in my eyes when I looke at Katniss.
There is only one difference between this couple and me and Katniss.
They both have love in their eyes, and I'm the only one with love in this relationship.
Even though everyone thinks Cato and Clove are just some self absorbed careers, I can see through the act. They try to hide their love, but can't seem to.
I can still remember the night the careers found Katniss and chased her into the tree. That night when everyone was asleep (so we thought) Cato and Clove were still up. I was up too, just pretending to sleep because I was Worried for Katniss. I heard their whole conversation.
"What are we gonna do, Cato? They'll never have two victors!" Clove fiercely whispered to Cato.
"I dont know Clov, but we'll figure it out. I love you and won't let anything happen to you."
I know I shouldn't be listening but I can't help it.
After that night I relished that everyone loves.
10 years after the rebellion, Katniss and I are sitting in the meadow watching our kids playing. Katniss mentions my time with the careers and I remember Cato and Clove talking.I tell Katniss what I heard when they were talking and Katniss says with a slight smile "I always thought there was something between them." She then tells me about what happened at the feast and I finally realize that not all careers are ruthless heartless monsters. They're just like everyone else, victims of the Capitol's worst game, The Hunger Games.
Sucked,right? But it was my first story and I think I did good! :)
