Can you hear it? It's the symphony of disaster.

A sweet melody composed by the screams and howls of those who can't escape their death, a beautiful concert enlightened by the sight of collapsing buildings and sparks of blazing fire.

The sound of a tender laugh escaped a pair of pink lips, the eyes of its owner focused on the chaos he had provoked. Bright flames reflected on his pupils, intensifying its pale violet color, almost matching the fiery red of his fur.

He can feel the adrenaline running through his veins and a feeling of excitement clench on his stomach, a smirk curled on his lips. It makes him so happy, almost like a drug, and his body helplessly can only crave for more. He inhaled deeply, smelling burned skin, the intoxicating scent of souls being calcined and ashes getting carried by the wind.

His attention was suddenly draw to the weak noise of another breath. His ears perked and his tail tensed, but soon he relaxed at the sight of the person who was getting closer to his position.

Green fur, camo jacket and a pair of yellow, soul piercing, eyes.

—You had lots of fun here, didn't you?— the green soldier said in a deep, husky voice. Taking a seat next to him on top of that building, where the whole mess can be seen with appalling detail.

—I did it for you— he answered in a loving tone — Do you like it?—

The other male just smiled in silent approval.

How he love that smile. Without thinking twice, he leaned closer to him and purred, like a kitten welcoming his master. He warped his tail around one of his legs and let his head rest on the soldier's strong chest.

That simple action made the yellow eyed bear fill with guilt, a painful sting that he wasn't used to feel at all.

How he had tamed that beautiful creature?

How he had corrupted him to the point that he can't be called a hero anymore?

What he had done to break his pride and made so docile at his presence?

Then he remembered, he had used that worthless emotion called love. He had slowly filled his heart and body with tender words and pleasurable caresses, everything just to have him as his obedient puppet. The soldier looked at the sky and tried to lose himself on the sight of the sunset, the hot color of the clouds and the flames seem to become one at some point in the still burning city.

The warm feeling of soft lips against his skin brought him back to reality, little butterfly kisses being pressed on his neck and shoulders. He looked down and couldn't help himself but run his finger through that silky red mane.

A terrible question passed by his mind.

Had he fall in love too?

He doesn't wants to know the answer or maybe he was afraid to.

For now, he just wanted to hold him like that while the world around them slowly falls apart, while the whines and sobs serenade them with their sweet melody, while fire dances only for them.

While they enjoy the symphony of disaster.
