The halls of castle Osita were unusually quiet at nighttime. What with Serra and Hector residing in the castle, there were never really that many moments of peace. So now was the perfect time for Farina to sit and think for a long time, since the problem she was thinking was a big one. The castle garden was a nice place to think, as she could just stare However, her thoughts were interrupted by a sudden feeling of paranoia. She never really lost it after the war, and she felt like she was being watched. She yelled,

"Whoever's there, come out, now!"

Nothing but silence. Farina made the mistake of turning around, only to be startled by Matthew. Farina sighed,

"How long were you watching me?"

"Ever since you awoke in the middle of the night about 2 hours, 42 minutes, and 34.67 seconds ago."

She rolled her eyes, "You know, Matthew, you're like a stalker sometimes."

Matthew sighed, "You praise me too much, milady. Anyways, what has you so disturbed?"

Farina tensed up, "Nothing. I'm just fine."

Matthew smirked, "By the gods, you are one HORRIBLE liar. Tense stance, refusal to avoid eye contact, shuffling of the feet… your posture is terrible!"

Farina sighed, "I know, it's just…. Well… It's nothing."

"Come on, you can tell me! I'll keep your secret safe, no matter how… scandalous."

Farina's face grew red, "W-What are you implying? I'd never do anything like that!""

Matthew nodded, and spoke with his eyes wide, "Ah… I hit the nail on the head! So you ARE having an affair with Kent…"

Farina shot up, "Why would you even-"

"Oh, you two are so different… But then again, look at Serra and Oswin. I don't think they have one thing in common…"

Farina clenched her teeth, "I'm not having an affair-"

Matthew smiled, "But wow, I thought Hector could keep a woman better… But if he can't perform, then I guess he isn't worth staying with, huh?"

"DAMMIT, MATTHEW! IT'S NOT THAT HECTOR CAN'T PERFROM IN BED!"

Matthew smirked, "Oh, so it's the opposite problem… Your pregnant."

Farina sighed, "Yes… I mean… damn.. I fell for it."

Matthew's grin grew larger, "And your nervous about telling it to Hector."

"Yeah.."

He smiled even larger, "Farina, what would you do if I told you Hector's been here the whole time at my request?"

She stared at him, and the looked behind him. Hector stood there, a look of angoy (Since Hector always looked angry, Farina made up the word 'angoy' to show when he feels joy.) on his face. Farina's face grew red,

"Matthew?"

"Yes, milady?"

"You're fired."

"Well, shit. I guess I had a good run. I wish you the best of luck to you and your child."

Matthew vanished, leaving Hector and Farina alone. Hector shuffled his feet nervously,

"Well… it's a good thing you told me now. Otherwise I'd of thought you were getting fat."

She cocked an eyebrow, "That is quite possibly the worst way to ever start a conversation."

Hector sighed, "I know. Maybe THIS will do better."

He leaned over and kissed her, then pulled her into a hug. For once in his life, Hector decided to let his actions speak rather than his words. In his embrace, Farina realized that he would be a great father, that she would have nothing to fear. Well, actually…

"Hector?"

Hector pulled back, "Hm?"

"I just want to let you know, baby stuff isn't coming out of my pocket. My contract as Marquess Osita states that you pay for everything."

Hector sighed, "That is the worst way to end a conversation."

Farina grinned, "It's not ending. Just because I'm pregnant, doesn't mean I can't make children…"

Hector smiled so large it was almost sinister. The two started walking back to their bedroom, ready for-

"Excuse me, Hector?"

He groaned, "What Matthew."

"Am I really fired?"

Hector and Farina looked at each other, then said in unison,

"Yes."
