Summary: Drabble. What happens when Bella has a surprise for Rikki and Cleo?
Authors note: I had this written for a very long time and decided publish it.
"Cleo and Rikki I have a special surprise for you," said Bella walking into the café. She did a tiny little dance in her step as she got excited herself. This was such a great surprise.
After a year of nothing but skype and post cards, Emma was finally back. This was all Bella's idea to have the surprise party. She had managed to get Emma to call her instead of the others two weeks before she came back.
Then she had gotten her dad to drive her to the airport. It was actually kind of fun to meet the other mermaid in person. Emma was eager to see her powers in action that wasn't over a camera. Things had been awkward between the two girls but now they got along just fine. So fine in fact both girls were now part of the "mermaid club" and went swimming together this morning.
Right now, the blond haired mermaid waited just outside of Rikki's café.
"For us," said Rikki. "Could this be a good thing?"
"It'll be the most exciting thing you'll witness all year. No, better than that. You'll be crying over what I'm about to show you."
"Wow," said Cleo impressed.
"So close your eyes," ordered Bella. "Will, make sure they don't peek."
Will had personally covered both girls' eyes with his hands. Bella had ran outside the door and ushered for Emma Gilbert to come in. Emma and Bella started to wiggle in their spots. Bella putting a finger on her lips.
Will only looked curiously at the girl unsure what to make of her. Sure she looked pretty with long blond hair to her waist. She had tan skin with bright blue eyes against her tan.
Both girls started to whisper to each other arguing over something. It seemed as if the girl had won the argument because Bella only pouted.
"Okay open your eyes," said the girl. Under his hands both Rikki and Cleo seemed to freeze. Rikki had pulled his hand away from her eyes.
"Emma! Oh Emma! That's Emma!" screamed Rikki and Cleo at once. Both girls jumped off of their seats and into the arms of their friend. Will had never seen either girl act like this.
Just as Bella had predicted, Cleo had started to cry a little at the reunion.
"This is my best friend," said Cleo wiping her eyes. Then there were four mermaids all together at last.
