"Is it alright if I turn the lights on the whole night?"
Covering half of her face with the blanket, the bluenette nodded quietly as she hid the blush stamped on her face. "I'm used to sleeping with lights on, so it's okay."
"Alright."
"Um, Shade?" Rein watched at the purple-haired man who was busy preparing his bed on the floor. He glanced at her which made her nervousness back.
"What is it?"
"U-Um.." Rein was trembling tensely. She wanted to tell him not to sleep on the floor, because she knew that the floor was cold and hard to sleep on. Though, she was scared that he might misunderstand the idea. After all, it wasn't like she intended to let him sleep on the same bed as her.
"Is there anything wrong?" He asked once again.
"W-Well, I-I just want to tell you that sleeping on the floor might be a bad idea. I-I mean, it can get you a backache in the morning, so.."
"You're not intending to indirectly invite me to sleep with you tonight, right?"
"Of course not!" Unpurposely, Rein threw the pillow on her hands to the face of the man in front of her. She gasped in surprise after realising what she had done. "I-I'm sorry, I didn't do in on purpose!" She got off the bed and headed towards him. Unfortunately, she slipped, and it caused her to fell to the top of him.
"Waah!!"
Both of them glanced at each other with their eyes widely opened. Their faces were only inches apart from each other and their cheeks were red from embarassment.
"I-I'm sorry!" Realising the situation, Rein quickly got off him and staggered backwards. Meanwhile, Shade just sighed and decided to forget the situation.
"Sleep well." He tossed the pillow back at her and headed to an early sleep.
Meanwhile, Rein who was still shocked from the previous incident decided to return to her bed. She kept on blaming herself about how stupid and idiotic she was. "How stupid. Now, he might think that I'm a coquettish woman who's trying to get close to him. It wasn't done purposely! It was incident!"
That day, Rein spent the whole night fully awake. She barely could get any sleep. Everything that happened on the past few days blew her mind completely off. She still couldn't believe what she had gone through.
Marrying a man whom she never met and never knew was probably the dumbest idea that her parents had ever made.
