Dawn Realizations
They had all made it to dawn it seemed, well except for Josh but Emily at the moment was more focused on thinking about the fact she had made it this far. First she had to deal with idea there was some psycho out here going after them and then learned about the monsters that were actually here hunting them. One thing was certain going up into the woods would not be something she would consider ever again. But that was not all that was bothering her, she would deal with knowledge that a creature like a wendigo existed later. For now though she had something else making it's way to the front of her mind again.
Sure Josh had set up his insane prank but turns out he was crazy and did not even mean for anyone to get hurt, anyways she did not even get too effected by it directly. Just a scare and given what her prank on Hannah the year before had led to perhaps it was in some small part persevered. The point though was he did not actually want to physically injure anyone, he saw that night as some twisted revenge. The monsters according to the book seemed to lose their mind to their hunger and get possessed or something.
Mike, Mike however had been the one to draw a gun on her, holding it right to her face, his finger far too close to the trigger. He might have shot her, he was so closed to ending her right there. It was not only him, even Ashley seemed to encourage it, Chris too. Sam was the only one that reached to stop him at first but she backed away too. All of them would have let him shoot her and do nothing about it. They were all back here and safe now away from those monsters but even still she could not forget that her so called 'friends' had been so close to killing her.
All she wanted was to see Matt and Jessica, they were the only two that had not been a part of that. Jessica, they had been such good friends before she started dating Mike and she wanted nothing more in this moment to go back to some of those times. She had not seen Jessica or Matt yet, they were picked up separately but from what she heard Jessica was really messed up. She swore once they got out of this she would try to start being better to Matt and Jessica, because out of the all the others they were the only ones she felt like she could fully trust right now.
