"Sickening."

Bellatrix flung her Astronomy notebook across the Slytherin common room and scowled.

"What's wrong with you NOW?"

He rolled his eyes and attempted to feign disinterest as he casually looked up from his notes. Bellatrix's outbursts were certainly not contributing to an environment conducive to studying. But he didn't really care.

"YOUR star is said to shine brighter than MY star. Obviously the astronomers know nothing about us. And I don't like it. You shine with foolishness and these ideas that are so crazy you're just going to fall right out of the sky."

"Is that so?"

"Yes. And when you fall, I'm going to LAUGH at you. Because I saw it coming." Bellatrix grinned and brushed the hair out of her eyes, motioning for him to sit next to her.

"And I assume I started my fall, being as I'm studying with you, in the House of Ill Repute as my fellow Gryffindors like to call it?" He accepted her invitation and sat next to her.

"You're unusually intelligent when you keep your mouth shut. Don't ruin it."

Sirius put an arm around her and kissed her.

"I might just say the same of you."
