It's... Me again! Just so you know, I love HarryxGinny pairings, as well as HarryxDraco fluffiness... XD But I got this idea, and I wanted to write it down. I find it kinda unfair on Cedric, because he's done nothing, but just because he's popular, people are going against him. But remember. I don't usually ship CedricxHarry.
Here we go! XD
Harry was walking along the corridor, his mind full of the Tri-Wizard Tournament. Dumbledore had something about many wizards and witches perishing in the tournament... What made him any different? What guaranteed his safety. 'Nothing' was the answer.
He sighed, and went left. Going down the stairs, he imagined what would happen if he died. The Daily Prophet, for one, would have a field day. 'Boy-Who-Lived Lives No More', or 'You-Know-Who's Savior, Killed In Tournament', or something along those lines. They's probably come up with something better. He wasn't very good with words.
The Dursley's, he knew, wouldn't miss him. 'They'd probably be celebrating, knowing them,' Harry mused.
Ron and Hermione, he hoped, would miss him. After all, who would break up all their arguments?
"Harry! Hey, Harry!"
"Wha-" Harry spun around. Cedric Diggory was behind him, panting.
"Just wanted... to say... you know... good luck," Cedric blurted out. Harry stared. He wasn't used to Cedric being so... un-Cedric-like.
"Uh... Yeah. You too."
Harry's breath quickened. Cedric was coming closer, and closer, and closer. Cedric's lips brushed against Harry's, who jumped as though he'd received an electric shock. Cedric jumped back too.
"Sorry! I'm... er... German! It's a... greeting tradition! Please don't take it offensively!" Cedric blurted. Harry gave a small smile, and leaned forward.
"I think I like this tradition," he said softly, before pressing his lips against Cedric's. Suddenly, all that mattered in the world was the soft feeling of lip-against-lip. Who cared, really, about the Tri-Wizard Tournament? That was ages away, he could worry about that later.
The kiss grew deeper. Cedric's hands were all over Harry's body, and Harry's hands were scuttling in the same way. Neither of them noticed the Creevey brothers standing at the staircase, mouths dropped open, or when Dennis whipped out a camera at the same time as Colin and took several photos, before running off.
Next day, breakfast was chaos. There were several reasons for this. Ron's owl had landed in Hermione's cereal, and she had jumped up, shrieking in surprise. A howler had reached a Slytherin, who had, from the sound of it, gotten T in all his OWLs.
However, the main reason breakfast was a pandemonium, was because the moving photos Colin and Dennis had managed to take had been stolen (well, believed to be stolen). by none other than Rita Skeeter. The front page flashed the title:
Hogwarts Champions - Closer Than You Think
...Why the hell did I write that...?
Love? Like? Hate? Loathe? Tell me what you think!
Oh, and I've got a little question. Is there anyone in Harry Potter (or Naruto and Death Note, if you watch that) who has the same birthday as you? Please don't kill me if you're a Bleach fan, I haven't watched that yet. Lemme get to Ep.100 of Death Note. XD
