Introductions
(This fiction does not include any content from the games. Only the three seasons of the anime. Also this is being written during the third season, so if plot change, I'm sorry. I can't predict the future.)
President Shining called STARISH, Quartet Night, and Haruka into his office. The two groups entered with the lights dimmed and President Shining turned to the window. He was doing this for dramatic effect of course. Once the groups were settled Shining turned to address them.
He began in his booming voice, "We have a special guest coming to Saotome Academy."
Shining clicked a red button on his desk that activated a projector. A video began within in 3 seconds. The song being sung by the 4 projected girls, flooded the room with soft harmonies, raging lyrics, and gentle voices. The girls were dancing with passion and a violent love that only idols possessed. Ranmaru's eyes widen when he saw the girl with black hair who was the front woman of the group. He balled his fists and stayed silent.
The video ended and the lights came up. Shining waited for their responses.
"Who are they?" Otoya asked with curious enthusiasm.
Shining responded, "They are: Nightingale. They've been idols for a few years and used to be signed to Raging, but… last week Nightingale dropped them."
"What does that have to do with Saotome Academy," Ranmaru said through clenched teeth.
Shining smiled widely and laughed. "Because. I want them to join Shining Entertainment."
A question was on STARISH's faces, Why were we here?
President Shining continued, "Nightingale hasn't been known to play well with others. As a matter of fact, their frontwoman, Ishiguro Rinka, has a reputation in the industry for being nasty. Some say it's what's gotten her this far… I need to know that they will work together with STARISH and Quartet Night before they join Shining Entertainment."
The room fell silent, everyone was trying to process the words coming out of the president's mouth.
"That's why you'll have to give them a trial run. If they pass, they join you here. If they fail…" the president turned back to the window. Everyone took that as a queue to leave. They walked down the stairs together and into the foyer.
Coming through the front doors were 4 well dressed girls who were chatting among themselves.
"And here I thought Raging had a flare for the dramatics," a platinum blonde named, Yana Suzume, smiled while gawking at the decor.
Rinka, who was walking at the front of the group, stopped when she saw Ranmaru. Her eyes widened then went back to normal. All of the girls were exceptionally beautiful in their own way. For example: Rinka has flawless brown skin that almost glowed; the bassist, Kondo Asami, has cold piercing eyes that any photographer loves to see; Mitsui Kai has cute doll like features; and Suzume has her long uniquely colored hair.
Nightingale moves closer to STARISH and Quartet Night to make their introductions. Rinka reached out to shake Haruka's hand first; but Ranmaru forcefully grabbed Rinka's hand and held eye contact with her.
Ranmaru growled and hardened his face. Rinka made a disgusted look with her lips and spat, "I knew you'd be a problem."
Ishiguro Rinka was also the frontwoman of the band that Ranmaru joined before he went to Quartet Night. She left him too, just as the other band mates had.
