My entry for the copy cock drugs challenge. Not exactly brilliant, but it amused me.

"Er...Sasuke-kun?"

Kakashi really hadn't been expecting this. His plan had been to come home, shower, go to sleep. Not deal with one Uchiha Sasuke, hyped up on something and sitting on Kakashi's couch, shaking insanely.

"Sasuke-kun, what the hell did you do?"

Sasuke mumbled something incoherently, watching vaguely as his hand jostled that cup placed precariously in his hands.

"What was that?"

The mumble came again, slightly louder but no more comprehensible. Kakashi, however, somehow managed to decipher the meaning. He raised his one visible eyebrow. "Coffee," he deadpanned.

Sasuke's head jerked up and down in an attempt at a nod, causing the brown liquid in his mug to slosh all over him.

Kakashi snatched the mug away, fearing for his upholstery. "You're high on caffeine?" he asked in the same monotone.

Sasuke gave another twitch-nod and eyed his sensei suspiciously. "Sh-shut up," he ground out, irritated at his instability.

"I didn't say anything, Sasuke-kun. But I have to say, I am quite disappointed you. You know that's a form of drugs."

If looks could kill, Kakashi would have had been disemboweled then and there.

Kakashi, being Kakashi, was unaffected.

Sasuke looked like he was going to add a statement to his glare, but soon realized that if he opened his mouth, the contents of his bloated stomach would probably come right out. Though that was an interesting prospect for a potential revenge plan, Sasuke didn't exactly like the thought of sleeping on the couch for a month. Instead, he began to eye the cup pointedly and inch closer and closer until he could snatch it out of his sensei's hands.

Kakashi noticed this effort and placed the mug well out of Sasuke's hands. "The last thing you need is more of this stuff," he pointed out. "I think the best solution would be to get you to bed."

Sasuke's glare intensified. "Y-you know I won't be a-able to sleep like this," he slurred.

Sasuke had the sinking feeling that if Kakashi's face had been visible, a wide grin would have been in place. "I know the perfect way to tire you out," Kakashi purred, inching closer.

Sasuke vaguely realized that he should probably have protested, but Kakashi's tongue was awfully distracting.

And besides; in spite of everything, Sasuke did manage to get to sleep afterwards.
