Ichigo Momomiya was walking up the steps of the café, looking to argue with her boss about getting a raise.
Yet, as she ascended the staircase, she came face to face with Ryou, who was currently wrapped in a towel coming from the bathroom into his own room.
In the summer time
The sun floated through the window, covering his wet glistening tan face with light.
"Hey, strawberry." he was so nonchalant that for almost ten whole seconds.
"H-hey." was her delayed response, as she stood there like a fool, trying to figure out what to say to a man who was only wearing a towel.
The shade of a tree
He stood there, just watching her face turn red. Soon though, he got bored and, on sheer impulse, leaned in and kissed her.
The humming of a bee
The red haired girl began prancing dreamily around her room like a love struck dork, almost as soon as she'd stepped into, and closed, the door.
The red roses on a vine
The following Friday had been packed with so much excitement, that Ichigo couldn't even take a breath without almost falling over and being caught by Ryou. That day had been specially planned by Ryou himself for his and Ichigo's big date. The carnival, the park, fireworks, dinner and a show. But, to top it all off for the night, they shared a long, sweet, loving kiss on the front porch of her apartment.
All the things that occur
During the summer time
Later that following year, the happy couple were riding off in a white stretch limo, hand in hand, as the cans and ribbons dangled and bobbed noisily from the back.
The year following their marriage, they were sitting in the hospital room, holding little Momo Shirogane in their arms.
