Massie was on the phone with the rest of the Pretty Committee, talking about what happened earlier that day.
"Guys, I know the boys are going to our school now. Of course it sucks. I was there, wasn't I? Duh. Anyway here's the plan, we'll go to the bomb shelter tomorrow when the guys have the feelings period. Isn't it like at 12:55? We'll see if they have anything to say about us. If they want us back, we'll try to get them to love us again." Massie was going to say more until she got interrupted by Kirsten,
"But how? Griffin thought I was boring and weird." Massie told Kisten,
"We'll find another guy worthy of you Kristen." Someone knocked on her door.
"Guys, I'll be right back." Massie tossed her lavender phone on her bed and asked,
"Who is it?" Then the person at the door said,
"It's Claire." Massie just said,
"Oh, you can come in." Claire came in and said,
"Cam Instant messaged me and said that he and his friends aren't into us anymore and that we're too high maitnece." Massie gasped and screeched,
"WHAT?! I was just on the phone with Leesh, Kris and Dyl, on how to get them back! I can't believe it! We thought they still loved us! I have to tell them!" Massie snatched her phone that was on the bed and just shouted,
"Ehmagawd! Guys, Claire said that the guys aren't into US anymore! You know what they are D2U!"
"Huh?", Alicia asked with confusion. Massie sighed and said in a know it all tone,
"Dead to us! Anyway, I gotta go. My parents said that if I don't pass my classes, we're not going to be able to go to the Caribbean together this summer! So unfair, so I actually have to do my homework."
"Ever since when did they care?", Dylan asked.
"I don't know! But all I know is is that my life SUCKS right now." Kristen said,
"Welcome to my world." Massie said blankly,
"Bye." Claire was waiting in Massie's dark purple beanbag chair and said,
"We have a geography quiz tomorrow, I'll quiz you." Massie asks,
"Who studies? That's LBR to the max." Claire replied,
"We do if we don't want to repeat the boring class!" Claire quizzed Massie, and they did their math homework together, Claire did the first half and Massie did the bottom half and gave each other the answers, so they can hang out sooner. Obviously it didn't work because on Massie's white iHome clock said 9:30 on it. So Claire said to Massie,
"I should get going, see you tomorrow you're going to do well on the quiz, I know it."
"G'night, I better or else Mr. Myner …I don't know… but he'll be somewhere in the woods where we were missing. And skunks will spray him with an improved scent, instead of his Old Spice cologne," Massie replied. Claire laughed. Mr. Myner wore heavy cologne and Massie always got headaches when she was around and one of the reasons was because of his cologne. Claire left Massie's room.
Massie couldn't sleep that night because everything felt like was crashing down. Her love Derrington, and her social life.
