It was a cold winter morning, and I was walking to school. My long ebony hair blew around me in the breeze. I was so excited! Today was my first day in my new school, and I couldn't wait to make new friends—and possibly a boyfriend. After all, a woman is never complete without a man by her side.
Oh, how silly of me, I should probably introduce myself. My name is Kitana Valentine Laila Swan. (A/N: Sorry, I couldn't think of anything better, lol. I wanted her name to be pretty.)
I recently moved to Forks to live with my dad. So far, I'm really enjoying it!
I have ebony-black hair, and my eyes are a mix of grey, purple, and blue. My complexion is not too pale, but not too tan. I was wearing a short purple dress to show off my long legs, and purple high-heeled shoes. For make-up, I wore this sparkly purple eye-shadow that I recently bought and pink lipgloss. If you couldn't guess already, my favorite color is purple. (A/N: I suck at details, so I can't really describe more than this. xD)
Anyway, I reached the new school and looked around. Everyone was staring at me. I didn't know why. I just tried not to pay attention to them and continued walking to the inside of the new school.
When I was in, I examined everything. (A/N: I'm not gonna describe what she saw because I suck at details, remember? Lol.) All in all, it seemed fairly friendly.
I kept walking and looking around until I accidentally bumped into someone. "Oh, I'm terribly sorry…!" I apologized, looking up at the person I bumped into.
Suddenly, my face turned red and I couldn't move. That person… He was… Well, beautiful would have been an understatement! His eyes were a mesmerizing golden, and his hair was the most beautiful type of dirty blonde I had ever seen!
"It's alright." He said. But then he blinked and smirked. "Your face is red." He said in a low voice, tracing his fingers against my cheek.
"I-I-I.." I stammered, feeling like I was going to faint. "What's your name, milady?" He asked. "K-K-Kitana…" I barely managed to answer him.
"Such a beautiful name for a beautiful woman." He commented, grinning.
His teeth were such a pearly white. It was like he wasn't even human or something! How could any human being be that beautiful? (A/N: Oh wait, look at Kitana. LOL jk ik! xD)
"Th-thank you…" I managed. "I'm Edward, by the way. Edward Cullen." He smiled. "Maybe I'll see you around?" He added, and left.
I stood there, still dazed.
