Eight years.

Eight years had gone by since the last time that they were all together. Eight years since they all pulled through and won Nationals competition for the second time. Eight years since all contact was lost. Eight years since they all walked across that stage to the beginning of the rest of their lives.

Darren Criss was attempting to get some sleep after hanging out with the cast all night. They had all gone out to dinner in celebration of 'Hall of Fame' hitting the Top Ten charts. The night had involved a lot of heavy drinking and fun, but the hangover that came after? Not so much.

He was practically asleep when he heard his phone buzz on the night stand next to him. He groaned in irritation when the bright light seeped into his vision. He sat up, with reluctant eyes, and slowly peeked at the message lighting his screen. He blinked once in confusion when he didn't recognize the number.

Blaine, (or Darren?),
There is a Glee reunion coming up soon! I was just now able to find and reach your contact information so you are, unfortunately, the last one to know. I will warn you that this is slightly short notice. It will be next Saturday in the same choir room for memories sake. Let me know if you are interested. Just text, or call, me back on this number and I will give you the rest of the details. I don't know what happened, Blaine. You sort of just disappeared off the earth. The whole entire Glee club was so worried about you for months after graduation. I am so glad that I found you after all this time. Even if it is with a different name and a bunch of screaming fans on the side. We all miss you terribly and would love it if you could join us. -Will Shuester

Darren slowly closed the message, without deleting it, and laid his phone back down on the night stand. Then he lay back down onto his bed and shut his eyes. 'I've fought so hard to get here from where I was when I was,' he thought 'I miss everyone terribly but is it worth it all just to try and explain myself? I have changed so much since they've seen me last.."

He didn't know what to think.
