and she wonders why fairytales cant be real
kiss kiss
namine centric
if she had to pick one favorite, namine would have to say that rapunzel is her favorite fairytale. but there's only one version she likes, and its not the disney version, either.
oh, quite the contrary. she likes the messed up version, where the evil witch falls out of the window and dies and the handsome prince has his eyes scratched out. but he and rapunzel find their happy ending nonetheless.
happy endings aren't something that namine understands. not when all of her (un)life has been centered around little else besides sora and kairi, when they're separated and together and separated again… that's not happiness to the memory witch.
that's pain.
pain from being away from the one you love.
and she wonders why fairytales cant be real. when you meet the one you love and you stay together forever, riding off into the sunset on beautiful white horses and bright smiles on their faces, not tears and promises that they'll come home safe and sound, not physically and emotionally scarred from fighting so many heartless that were once people.
it hurts the heart.
but namine wouldn't know that because she doesn't have one, a heart.
but she does know that his story, sora's story, will end with bright smiles and welcome homes, and maybe, just maybe, they'll be there, too, and namine can have her sunsets and happily ever after, too.
with him.
