Knowing
The image faded away. Yoshina's lips parted and he turned to look at the girl in the doorway. He owed it to Amamiya to tell her. Oboro seemed to be screening himself and Hiryû…
It should be expected. Hiryû was so attached to Tatsuo, but it was not what Yoshina wanted. Everything was getting away from him, though there had never been leadership over the group for anyone to claim.
"Yoshina…?"
He had to answer her. If he lied to her in this moment, he would accept the leadership that was not there, a position he could not keep. To survive, everyone had to rely on one another, and those with their necks above the rest would be dead long before they could find the public phone that would jettison them back to 2009. If they wanted to bring about the world they wanted, they had to move en masse.
Yoshina opened his mouth and this time he found awkward words appropriate for the situation.
