"Professor Flitwick?" The young woman asked, sticking her head through the door of the Charms Classroom to see the small professor sitting at his desk, reading through his notes.
"Come in," he squeaked absent minded, waving with his hand and the woman entered, closing the door behind herself before speaking again:"I... I came to introduce myself as your new colleague, I don't know if you remember me, I am..."
The teacher looked up and his face lit as he jumped from his chair, approaching her with a huge smile on his face as he exclaimed:"Rolanda Hooch, of course, I do remember you! How could I ever forget your incredible talent! And honestly, there was not a day going by on which I did not read something about your Quidditch games in the Daily Prophet! A house teacher always tries to be informed about his former students!"
The witch smiled over Filius' excitement to see her again and she already felt less nervous regarding her first day at Hogwarts.
"My, my, what happened to that little girl? It seems like yesterday when I think of you kneeling on the staircase, trying to separate your Quidditch magazines from your homework after Ulli Harrington charmed them to stick together...," Filius babbled as he mustered her with a amount of pride in his gaze that made Rolanda feel slightly uncomfortable. "I guess this doubtfully behaviour towards your skills has eventually stopped after winning the World Cup, right? And you will be the new flying instructor?"
"Um, yes... Dumbledore contacted me as soon as he heard that I wanted to quit professionals...," Rolanda explained, feeling overwhelmed by the warm welcome and the many memories about her her former Head of the House had in store. "I need to admit that I am a little bit nervous..."
Filius patted her arm in a fatherly gesture and said:"Well, it is true that teaching a class is different from winning a Quidditch game, but I am sure you will manage this!"
And as they made their way out of the Charms Classroom to walk down to the Staff Room Rolanda felt home again. She had never realised how much she had missed Hogwarts and Professor Flitwick, her all time favourite teacher. It was good to be back, but this time without all the homework.
