Prologue

Things had never been the same, we all knew it. Once the boy came, everything changed. It became a race for time until we would be revealed. We were. Sooner than we had thought. Team Rocket came a few day after he showed up. The boy, named Felix, became a friend. He fought for us, and we prevailed. Team Rocket left and we saw no more of them. For months after Felix left we heard nothing until a Wingull from the mainland came and told us what was happening. On the mainland, a company calling themselves Rocket Labratories, was engineering some sort of machine, a machine they claimed would allow the user to travel to another world! Felix, who had come from another world, had told us what could happen once that kind of technology fell into the wrong hands. He left us the device that he'd used to travel here. He knew that the technology was so dangerous that he left it in our world and gave up any chance of ever returning here just so none would get the device he'd used.

I walked up the steps towards the councils chambers. We had all been called here for an unknown reason. I walked up the stairs and through the doors with Aaron, Jack, and Leon trailing behind me. We walked into a large circular room with several empty chairs behind desks. Each desk had a plaque set on it that showed the town they represented. There were six members of the council and they were all missing except one. The doors shut behind us. The Pokémon, sitting in the seat directly across from us, was an elderly Alakazam. I looked up at him, "you called us here Elder Atsuro?" The elderly Pokémon looked down at me, "yes, I called you all here because you four are the only ones with experience concerning other worlds."

"Well, you called the right Pokémon!"

Elder Atsuro looked down at me tiredly, "yes, I hope so."

"Well, what do you need our help with?"

"I assume you know of the laboratory that calls themselves Rocket and their most recent experimental technology."

"Yes. Why?"

"We have a mission for you."

I looked around. The other elders seemed nervous, "What might that be?"

"Your…," Elder Atsuro paused. "…trainer friend. We need him again. We need you to find him and warn him of Team Rockets intentions, if they were to make it to his world they would destroy his world with their Pokémon."

"You want us to go… to his world?"

"I'm afraid so, you're the only ones who've ever met him, or know anything about his world."

The others behind me began to chatter amongst themselves as I said, "Well do it."

The others stopped and turned to me. "We couldn't possibly—" Jack started before I interrupted him, "What? Couldn't possibly help the person who almost singlehandedly defended a place that he'd never set foot before! He saved us and now we're going to return the favor!"

Leon stepped forward, "he's right. Felix did more for us than we could ever repay, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't try."

"I agree," Aaron said. "We've gotta help!"

I turned to Jack, "Well…"

Jack just nodded and smiled, "lets go."
