Truth and Dares with Moony and Padfoot
Prologue
Remus and Sirius were spending yet another cold evening sprawled across the comfortable chairs in front of the fire. Remus was curled into a cosy ball in the chair nearest the flames, reading a large book. Sirius glanced at his friend from the rug on the floor and sighed.
This happened far too often, and Sirius was undeniably bored. He rolled onto his stomach and propped himself upon his elbows.
"Remus, hey, hey, hey Remus…" Sirius spoke softly, trying to prod a response from the sandy haired boy on the chair. Remus calmly turned a page and blatantly ignored Sirius' antics.
"Remus, hey Remus, Hellooo… Remus… Moony, hey Moony, hey, Moony…"
Remus turned another page, with a tad more force. Sirius grinned, unwilling to give up – he knew he'd get Moony's attention sooner or later.
"…"
Remus' eye twitched slightly as the boy tried harder and harder to focus on his book and ignore those damned puppy-dog eyes Sirius was shooting his way.
"Earth to Moony! Can you hear me? Moony! Moo-"
"What?" Remus sighed, closing his book. He knew that there was no way in hell Sirius was going to leave him in peace, and that the annoying attention-seeking would only get worse the longer it was ignored. Sirius grinned. Remus didn't like the grin. That grin invariably got them into trouble – lots of trouble.
Sirius leaned forward, closer to Remus, and whispered excitedly.
"Let's play Truth or Dare."
