"It was a mistake!" rasped out Lucius, a wand pressing harshly into his larynx.
"Yes and possibly your last," whispered Snape, his sharp nose inches from the blonde's cheek.
"I want my experiment back…my property you've stolen."
Lucius spat, "She's a mud-"
"Silence!" hissed Snape dangerously. "You think you are privy to all the Master's wishes?"
Glacial eyes flashed amusement at his captor.
"Tell me now, Lucius, or must I…"
An elegant cane motioned towards a darkened corner, before the hex hit.
Snape lifted an unconscious Hermione close to his chest, her grey apprentice robes spotted only with potions stains.
