Amy had obviously never wanted any of this.
But, really, wants were never taken into consideration when it came to the constant, ever-present works of Fate. Because, Fate had it all planned out for you, no matter what you "wanted" or "desired". Fate was a bit... strange like that.
Waking up with a severe migraine assailing her frontal lobe, of course, put quite the damper on any sort of peaceful feeling that our main character might have had upon awakening to such a beautifully tranquil Sunday morning peeking through her fully opened curtains.
Though the anthropomorphic mammal awoke with migraines somewhat often, this one was like none of the others that she had experienced before. It was much, much more unbearable.
So, it was quite obvious that she couldn't simply conquer it with a short passage of time like she had done with the others. This one would be clinging onto her cranium throughout the entire, hellish day. Maybe, even longer.
Before she could think that, perhaps, on the dimmest of bright sides, the migraine, no matter how dreadful, was all that she needed to deal with that day, suddenly, her lips peeled back to expose her two rows of sharp teeth in a loud hiss as the bright, radiating light from the morning outside overwhelmed her eyes. And not only did it pain her eyes, but it made her already agonized brain feel a tad bit worse.
The consequently disgruntled pink-furred Amy, quite painstakingly, turned her head over on the pillow underneath of her head with a grunting sigh when she had felt the warm presence of another next to her body. What, or, more grammatically correct in this instance, whom was now before her slowly comprehending bloodshot edged eyes was... a cool-colored hedgehog.
Now, even if the migraine hadn't been present at this time- in some alternate universe, maybe- whom she now saw sleeping soundly beside her would have easily exceeded any migraine of any severity when compared with him in her inner contempt department. Huh. Again, even if she hadn't been experiencing a migraine, she would've much preferred to have one then rather than see the slowly being recognized male sleeping next to her now.
Why him?
Why him; out of all of the hedgehogs she knew- Richard, Steel, Shadow, Silver, Knuckles... Scourge, even- why did it have to be this one?
Why did it have to be Sonic the hedgehog?
Quick AN: So, I feel like I'm getting some pretty good feedback on this (Geh, 30 views and some PMs! Yey!), which means, I'll be starting the work on the second chapter for you guys! Splendid for you! :D
I'll probably have it uploaded by tomorrow, tonight at the very earliest. So... with that being said... Ciao!
