This was an idea that I've had for a while, but I never really got round to writing it until now...
Disclaimer: I don't own Pokémon or Durarara! I probably never will either.
This does include an OC as a main character, and I do use the Japanese character names from the Pokémon anime. I dislike the Western names. Yet I'm using the English names for everything else... that's just me though. On with the story and enjoy!
It was the night before my adventure with Mikado–Kun and Masaomi–Kun started. I was pretty reluctant at the time, I guess… 'Mom, I don't want to go on an "adventure". Let go.'
'Come on, Kana – Chan, you have to! I'm sorry to be the one who tells you this, but if you don't go tomorrow, you'll have to go with Shooty – Kun! Or on your own, but I doubt you'd want that, you can hardly stand up for yourself. Think of this as a way to toughen up a bit!'
'. . .' I stopped struggling; I knew I had no choice in the matter. There were two reasons: one, I can't stand Shooty, and two, if Mom couldn't convince me, then Masaomi – Kun would have forced me into it with Mikado – Kun. They had moved into Nuvema Town last year. We became friends after a couple of months. At least I'd be with them instead of alone. I'm just worried about one thing… and that would be receiving my first Pokémon… Professor Juniper has been pretty sick lately, so this weird guy has been standing in for her… there was something about him that seemed kind of off. I doubt he even had the qualifications to be a professor of any sort. Maybe I misjudged him. I'll just have to wait and see, I guess. But I had to get this over and done with. I packed my bag. Too much stuff would really be a problem, so I packed lightly. If I get in trouble I can just buy some supplies I thought to myself. I spent the whole night awake and thinking of how to deal with whatever problems I may encounter.
This is a kind of short prologue, huh? The other characters in DRRR! will show up eventually, and if they have Pokémon from outside of the Unova region or not, well that depends.
