"An ice cream truck, Face?" Hannibal asked looking anything but pleased.
Face put his hands on his hips and answered defensively, "It's the best I could do on such short notice."
"What do you expect us to do...freeze the bad guys to death?" Hannibal fired back.
"When Hannibal said he wanted those sleezeballs to cool their heels in the slammer, I don't think he expected you to take him literally," Murdock added with a lopsided grin.
"When we tell them to 'freeze'," B.A. giggled, "they just gonna laugh at us."
"You three think you're soooo funny, don't you?" Face steamed, as his friends nodded their heads 'yes'. "You told me to get a plated truck...and this is a plated truck."
By now Hannibal, B.A. and Murdock were in hysterics.
"I'll ride around in that thing when hell freezes over!" Hannibal teased.
"That was cold, Hannibal...real cold," B.A. spouted out.
"Wonderful," Face moaned leaning against the white vehicle. "All of my hard work, and I'm stuck here with Larry, Moe and Curly!"
"Be cool, Face. Be cool!" Murdock gasped doubled over in laughter.
"You need to chill out, man," B.A. said.
"Hardy-har-har! I get the hint...I'll take her back." Face lamented climbing into the driver's seat. He started the engine and groaned as the annoying carnival music began playing, causing the rest of the team to break up yet again.
Face could see the guys laughing at him through the rearview mirror. "Why me...why is it always me?" he asked out loud with a sigh.
Before Face turned the corner, Hannibal saluted him and yelled out, "Have an 'ice' day, Lieutenant!"
The End
